Two members of The West Ham Academy each received good news of a different kind today.
20 year old Colombian Winger Christian Montano became a father for the first time when his partner gave birth to a baby boy.

Christian who has been at the club since he was 11 stated "I want to give thanks to God for giving me a perfect season. It gave me the opportunity to make my first 10 goals as a professional and gave me the best trophy that is my son."
Kenzer Lee got good news of a different kind when he was invited to carry the Olympic Torch on a leg of its tour around Britain in the run up to the games in London.
19 year old Kenzer who enjoyed a successful season at centre back for the U18 side this year will be carrying the flame through Barking on July 22nd just 5 days before The Games officially open in Stratford.

Times are yet to be confirmed but I will let you know when they are released in case anyone wants to go and support one of our stars of the future. I will hopefully be able to post an interview with him nearer the time.
