How was your prediction right?

It wasn't 0-0

And there wasn't "hoof-ball"

Good try though

I'd agree the handbags were a good sign as well stirling - heat of the moment kind of passion thingy.

The team took the cup seriously last night but not the 9,000 missing fans.

Hopefully it's going to help Allardyce come to an understanding of the club's culture as well, which should have a positive influence on our league form as well.

Special game that. I was absolutely bricking it through those pens. Even if we went out next round, it wouldn't overly matter, as we firmly stamped ourselves on the international football consciousness. I've seen glowing match reports from all over Europe. Spain especially, they're going mad for Adrian.

Who else has been basking in the glory of last night's game at work. All day I had people coming up to me saying it was one of the best FA Cup games they've watched. It had everything and the right result! Has there ever been such a dramatic match.

Can't believe we have finally beat the cunts.
I knew it wasn't over even when the paddy got his marching orders. Anyone but Everton I would have been confident.
Lukaku scoring and downing pen miss I though we were finished.
Fair play the players, not a great performance by any means, but plenty of bollocks shown

I am still euphoric even now. I love those nights at Upton Park when something special happens. that was a special night. Both sides really went for it, it was a great game and thank the lord the result went our way. But over the two games, we were the better team and definitely deserved to go through.

"We all know he isn't the greatest player we have ever had, but you can't fault his work rate"

What? Yes you can, he's a lazy cunt most of the time. Look at Carroll last night, that's work rate.

Anyway, Cole did well, scored a good goal and a penalty and kept us in the tie, but lets not start to rewrite history.

if downing had scored we would have won 5 - 4 on penaties
