Re: Arsenal v West Ham - Official Match Thread 3-0 FT
It was the Inevitability of it all on Saturday that got me down. It seemed only a matter of time that they would go 1-0 up. But miracles upon miracles we are going to get ti half-time at 0-0. Ah, no we wont, 46th minute. Great. Now did anyone think we looked like really scoring in the second half, I didnt and then you start thinking well, 1-0, away to this mob isnt that bad I suppose. Ah, no but 3-0 is.

Although the second half against Chelsea was a great match I still got that feeling that we wern't going to score .
So the last 7 games have seen us concede 15 goals and score 3. Thank god we had such a good start to the season because that there is what is known as relegation form, to put it into context Burnley, in their last 7 games, have conceded 11 and scored 5.

I thought someone said something about dental work on Saturday (it may have been a joke) but odd that 'Manager on Monday' isn't done by the Manager after a shellacking.
If only to explain how it was all down to THROW INS.

I thought we did ok on Saturday to be honest. We had our moments.

My pre-match prediction came true though, we'd be 1-0 only to lose 3-0 with 2 goals inside the last 10 minutes.

Typical us.

He was so angry about the THROW INS we conceded, he couldn't bring himself to do it.

Why did McDonald do the post match AND this manager on Monday thing on the Official site?
Managers like Mourinho sometimes send the number 2 out when they have won and he can't be bothered.
Never when they lose.

He isn't on a plane to Sunderland is he?

Allardyce has a long record of playing key players out of position rather than play a youngster in the correct position whether it is either due to injuries or simply to accommodate Kevin Nolan

Swiss

I agree with most of that except I thought we gave a good account of ourselves in the home derbies v Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea, though the results were a kick in the bollocks each time.

Swiss. 11:06 Mon Mar 16
Re: Arsenal v West Ham - Official Match Thread 3-0 FT
BFS mistakes

Playes JOB not a natural RB in place of Demel.

Plays Kouyate in defence when we need some pace in midfeild (replace Nolan) . Why not play one of the youngsters as CB.

Plays Jarvis in front of Almaltifano.

Waits until going 2-0 down before making a sub.

This man is a complete joke of a manager.

But we did beat QPR at home. As for the other London derbies??? Shocking results.

Re: Arsenal v West Ham - Official Match Thread 3-0 FT
right . just picked my head up after that horror show.

Nothing changes at west ham, does it. From our misguided enthusiasm before the game; inept performance throughout the game; feeble excuses after the game.

we could easily have lost by another 3 or 4.

I know we were down with injuries- thats simply down to poor planning and cheapskating (again) in the transfer window- darren fletecher would have been the difference in these last barren games.

What I really cant forgive is just how fucking atrocious a lot of our players and as a team we are technically- constantly giving the ball away in open play; inept and useless corners- we even fucked up two short corners saturday( i know not how) and crossess etc going straight out time after time. Free kicks where we cant hit the target even

once again- what the fuck do these players and backroom staff actually do all week long.

this squad is in no way progressing- the whole thing needs to be revitalised from the start-- first up getting rid of mr anti football

There's no way in hell that there will be a mass exodus of fans next year regardless of what happens with Allardyce as it's our last season at the Boleyn.

Every single game will be a sell out. Obviously.

Allardyce aside, the 'two old doddery fuckers' as you put it are doing a much better job of running our club than many previous owners before them.

I think it's time for Allardyce to go but let's not go over the top.

Re: Arsenal v West Ham - Official Match Thread 3-0 FT
If this is not his final year then there will be a mass exodus of fans next year. If it is not his final year then we have a bigger fucking problem at this club than we have contemplated to date - in the form of the two old doddery fuckers that run it. That is where the blame will be shifted. We can then safely say that these two have no fucking clue how to run a football club and so far they're track record in picking managers is fucking appalling. I'm beginning to wonder if this is the real source of the problem.

Btw crap not shit - speaketh well with thy

Point being, if you are going to be an arrogant cunt who doesn't give a toss about the fans, you'd better be pretty damn good at your job to carry it off.

This one is just an arrogant cunt.

Re: Arsenal v West Ham - Official Match Thread 3-0 FT
decent football managers have to be arrogant cunts. some just cover it up a bit better than others.

Re: Arsenal v West Ham - Official Match Thread 3-0 FT
Yes Sven. I think unfortunately that we will struggle in these games and last 9 in general as we did against WBA, Palace etc. If we also see continued nepotism with Nolan that may well be the final straw and may be enough to convince the owners that a change is due. So in some ways, those that want BFS gone will possibly have to almost want us to struggle for the rest of the season?. No one wants us to lose of course so its a real Hobsons choice :-)
