Exactly, Palace were brilliant their players applied themselves they attacked.
We were predictably toothless .
In that first half It was the right time in my mind to go for them like crazy but as usual we allowed them to settle and sat back.

The bizarre thing is that Sam views himself as an innovator, the champion of bringing statistics and pro zone into our game. When in fact he simply cannot see beyond one tactic or learn from mistakes. This tactic and his own dictator like personality have carved him a niche as a premier league survivor and in turn made him a very very wealthy man. But the way he has reverted to his own comfort zone after stumbling across such a vibrant team at the start of the season is criminal.

That's it in a nutshell Brentford, he's incapable of learning, we all know what our best formation and players is why doesn't this plank

I think he despises the West Ham fanbase and couldn't give a shit about anything but staying up!

You've had a lot of final straws Rylan.

Re: Aston Villa v West Ham - Official Match Thread 1-0 FT
Yesterday was the final straw for me!
Nolan keeping Song out of the side AND forcing Downing out wide where he is ineffective is plain idiotic! It was notable that once Nolan and Morgan were rightly hauled off for better players and Downing went central we looked a lot better.
Even the co commentator on Radio London pointed out that we were clearly carrying one player and that he is finished at Prem level and that he could not understand the loyalty shown to Nolan as he isn't even one of those pros who has looked after himself either. He also then went on to blame Nolan and his lack of legs for their goal.
Nolan was finished 18 months ago and Allardyce has put himself and Nolan before the club which is a sackable offence.

Why is it that everyone but BFS can see it?

I want him gone today, have defended and backed him on here many times but I can not defend this anymore.

I had hoped he had seen the light with Nolan earlier on this season, his stubbornness is remarkably stupid as it will be almost this issue which will (should) cost him his job!

You have put your finger on it. Narcissistic personality disorder is a big part of his problem (BFS). He is incapable of learning from mistakes. He cannot entertain the idea of being wrong.

Ok, just Song.

So, Liverpool away at Chelsea this afternoon could see us overtake them at the top (just 1 point and 0.25 behind the score)

Sniper - Yea, but the Nolan goal was more borderline, but to stand there and say that yesterday was ridiculous. Even Robbie Savage took the piss out of him.

I genuinely hate the man.

Re: Aston Villa v West Ham - Official Match Thread 1-0 FT
To be fair dancer, he's been doing that for ages - like Nolans disallowed equaliser at old trafford. Allardyce and nolan both came out in righteous indignation about what an awful decision it was, then it turned out he was offside and actually all he needed to do was leave the ball for sakho (not offside) to score instead.

Good summary Yarmouth.

Hopefully everything is ready for the new manager to start making decisions immediately after the Newcastle game. We have to start next season on the front foot.

Re: Aston Villa v West Ham - Official Match Thread 1-0 FT
1st half we were fucking dreadful, but I thought that changing Nolan for Song got us back on the ball and apart from a few overly ambitious passes in my view Song bossed the game.

Sadly, he can’t / won’t play like that every game now, probably because he knows he’s away at season end.

But – we were a different team in the 2nd half and I thought wwe took the game to them for long periods up until 5 or so mins from the end when we gave up.

You’ve got to laugh when Cole comes on – Jesus fucking Christ he’s lousy, he must know it himself and so must some of the other players as well.

I posted last week about Valencia and he’s done nothing to change my mind. Lively, enthusiastic, graft’s, just not very good..

2nd half we played the ball thru the channels via Song, wide via Nene and Downing woke up but Valencia still got nowhere. Shame but that’s the way it is.

I don’t think they threatened all day apart from their goal where fucking Nolan let Cleverly simply walk past him into the 6 yard box.

But it’s all a waste of time now, fucking Allardyce has given up, so have some of the players. We’ll run the season out not giving a fuck. Trouble is – when you’ve completely lost interest as Allardyce has, nothing can re-motivate you to kick start again. Even if (more like when) he’s given another contract he’s fucked with us and within himself too.

Surely the board can see this? I’m a self employed year by year contractor and I’ve been in situations where a company has not committed to another contract until right near the death. It fucks you off, you lose focus and you job search – so that when you get renewed you’ve lost interest completely apart from if the money is high enough to not be able to walk away.

I’m sure a lot of you have been in the same boat.
Allardyce, albeit a cunt, is in the same boat. He’s lost it now, doesn’t give a fuck and has enough money not to bother to try.

Bravo to the dildo brothers and the ‘business woman of the year’ – silly fat cow.

Fuck off the lot of you.

The owners are a strange lot....letting a manager get away with writing off 50 per cent of season. Now we're sinking to the depths of not getting yellow cards to qualify for Europe. Sam is getting away with murder.

Did we play yesterday? I have given up since trip to Dubai in March just like the players. Thanks Sam.

Can we forfeit the last two matches? No point in them for us.

I'm sorry to say it was on here at a very watchable 9pm and I couldn't be arsed , I actually went to bed at 8. Last time I watched a game was in Bangkok with balders. That was quite a while ago. I cannot watch it , it just bores and annoys me. I feel sorry for the fellas who go especially away. Even though for many and me when I went its a day out the piss as well. But you can do that without paying for travel and a match ticket . Up until this year basically I used to get up at 3 and 4 n the morning and watch even when I was going to work. Can't be bothered with it any more, Its not the losing , I think we are all used to that, its the manner in which they lose , they are starting to accept losing now imo

The cunt has shown himself up by saying the offside goal 'went against us' he's now resorting to lying to try to defend himself.
