Not the first time this season that there are at least 3 players each with a good case for MOTM. Kouyate, Noble, Reid, Payet (nearly) all had a massive impact on this game.

Lanzini was not a contender, but to counter what someone said about him not doing much, I'd say he did nothing stand out amazing, but he was very much involved with lots of little important things, linking up nicely all over the place, and working hard to put in his defensive shift too.

Same with Sakho....no goals, but he did his part in running the defence down giving them no time to dwell on the ball.

Great team performance in a match that was never going to be easy.

Sacko did nothing at all..... and so on.......

Re: WBA v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 0-3
Noble was very good from 20 minutes onwards. Made a terrible mistake running back into our box and turning into an attacker (when it led to Antonio clearing the ball)

Re: WBA v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 0-3
The reason why Noble gives the ball away is because he always trying to get a move going, sometimes they work, sometimes not, perhaps some should look at the amount of interceptions etc than the small negatives as per usual WHO.

Noble's third goal was a bit slick.

Poor old Fordy.

See the difference in Carroll after a good run of games under his belt.

Great spot from kamara on goals on Sunday for our first yesterday. Johnny Evans is with Kouyate in the middle, but he spots Carroll on the edge of the box unmarked. He's so shit scared of Carroll, he leaves Kouyate to move towards him, thus giving Kouyate an unchallenged header.

He was, as ever, excellent going forward, but he was, unusually, second best to his man in the first half.

I'm not saying he is crap, just that he wasn't in our top 10 players on one particular day.

Kouyate was immense. Sorry but Nobes gave the ball away more than anyone in the team yesterday. It's not a criticism (we did win 0-3!) just what I saw.

Thing with Kouyate is that he's so versatile. Centre half. Holding mid. Box to box mid. Gets goals. Just a fantastic signing.

Match Of The Day has 3 of our players up for goal of the month! How good are things now

Thought he did ok myself, wouldn't say he got rinsed every single time at all.

I love our play down the left hand side, have done all season.

Cresswell had a nightmare, being rinsed every single time by the 16 year old until Pulis unaccountably switched him from right to left.

Also I thought Mr Mason had a good game!
2 decent referees in a row
What's going on?

Re: WBA v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 0-3
Kouyate was probably my man of the match yesterday. He's an absolute beast in the midfield and has a bit of everything to his game. Very underrated too I think.

We've got a lot of quality in the squad these days. So good to see.

Re: WBA v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 0-3
Reid and The skipper were the two standouts for me. Antonio had a great game though, as did Cresswell. It was a proper team effort yesterday.

Kouyate for me, bloke was a monster yesterday. normally you would pick Payet as he has set such high standards for himself

Difficult to say who was MotM, as I only saw the Sky extended highlights in a pub full of distractions, but a bloody good win.
