erm......so we pay GBP15m for Carroll, and then several years later, after he's managed multiple injuries, 123 games and 30 odd goals (padded by two against WBA last week) his value has nearly doubled?

£27m for Carroll.

Have a day off you cunts.

I just didn't see how Hernandez was an upgrade because WH clearly needed a striker to lead the line during Carroll's many absences. Bilic's choices were Ayew and Hernandez. Both of whom I predicted would be failures.

Still a bit early to declare that correct but the indications are that WH are open to offers for Ayew and Hernandez apparently. If we got £27m for Carroll too then I am far more confident in Moyes judgement on a replacement than Bilic's any day.

It isn't. I'm sure I heard their reasoning is that it can cause trouble. Not too sure how as everyone is on a happy high at that moment.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was along the same lines of the sponsorship on shirts ala the booking for taking shirt off.

Ridiculous. Has this always been the case even in the old days?

I agree. It's my point that celebrating with own fans isn't a problem and shouldn't be a booking. How is it worse than song or adebayor?

I said during the game I'd love it if, after playing like that, we'd run up the other end and score in the 89th minute. Obiang scored too early, the dozy cunt.

the OB presence last night was well over the top- when they came and ringed the pitch they looked as embarrassed as bored as you could imagine. If you add up the stewards as well there must have been 100 people at least.. doing fuck all!

'As Joe Cole pointed out Noble was standing off Son as he had Eriksen next to him who could have been played in if he’d jumped in'

I was wondering when this was going to be pointed out. And how fucking wrong Joe Cole is. The man with the ball in the center of the goal represents the most danger and not someone 10 yards wide of the goal. As someone once said space never scored a goal. So quite why Noble did not sprint towards the man with the ball and close him down I dont know. Still a bit pissed off he turned his back on the shot to be honest but that just nit-picking. Loved getting a point against the cunts. But to hear that twat Sherwood and everyone else saying two points dropped by Tottenham blah, blah, blah. Hang on a fucking minute, didn't we go 1-0 up so therefore, ipso fucking facto, they actually recued a point.

I have pedro's goal on a loop at work and I am never going to get tired of watching it.

What is this fucking food ad and why is it slowing the site down. Cunts

Neither should get any repercussions to be honest. Even that Adebayor one was funny, obviously not for the away fans that day but after all the stick some players get let them celebrate however they want I say, dish it out can take it and all that..

I think the yellow card for celebrating with your own is stupid though, as is the yellow for taking shirt off but I'm 90% sure I read the shirt thing was more down to a sponsor thing as them taking their shirt off has the sponsors missing out on their advertising at the prime opportunity, which is even more ridiculous.

Again, they wouldn't be on the wages they are without that I spose so it's all just a bit silly.

Imagine if it was a case of the 90k seats go on sale and each set of fans apply, saving 2,700 for the away but the number left after every home fan has applied they then allocate the remaining number of tickets to the away fans and put the segregation in place.. I genuinely believe we would have more fans there than Spurs.

Last night was embarrasing for them. Our place isn't great but you wouldn't see empty seats like that for Spurs at home.

Also regarding son's petulant celebration I don't get why celebrating with own fans is a booking yet deliberately winding up away fans isnt

and was it a restricted attendance game from the Met ?

I see it was a 50k attendance out of 90k plus, not quite sure why we couldn't get a larger figure

Honestly don't have any idea what other people thought he was going to do. He was a younger Jermaine Defoe option, someone who scored goals and often little else, but that is what the game is sometimes.

He was always a next level signing for me. Someone you buy when you want to blow certain teams out of the water or get the goal you need to beat a stubbornly defensive team.

The problem is that we did not shore up the rest of the team at the current level, so he is wasted, and I think smartly has not been played that much under Moyes.

PS Who are two small strikers you are talking about that we had for several seasons? I think Bilic made it clear well before he came to us that he played with one bigger striker and wingers. Which is why I thought Carroll would get the chances he got under him.

I decided to have a quick look at the Daily Mail's report online for the game. Mainly for the comments as they're always good value. Lots and lots of Spurs fans showing how much they don't care by whinging about us not rolling over for them, saying they've destroyed us as a club, and how they're the victims of some great conspiracy.

It's brilliant.

Given the bournemouth player got fuck all for openly admitting he conned the referee on boxing day, he's going to get nothing here.
