What is the point of Perez?

By all means slate Pellegrini but do me a favour with the Moyes recommendations.
Anyone advocating that is a fucking moron.

What I see from Coruña, far away from there:
- Arnautovic until he is well can not be a starter
- The giant Carroll can not play either until he is well prepared
- Fabianski, (who is a great goalkeeper), failed on the second goal
Arnautovic has been out of the last two months and the team has won without him ..... Why when we play against one of the last classified in the league is essential? .
Happy 2019

Looked like a serious case of too much Christmas pud to me.

If and it is a big IF we did get into Europe Id hope we wouldn't have so many injuries and the squad would be a bit bigger. Or we could end up like Burnley.

The solution is a private jet and the players could parachute out over their houses, have the added bonus of a bit of quality control. Would be a shame if Carroll or Wiltshire's shutes didn't open

I would imagine it was 2 a.m. by the time the players got home as they go back to a meeting point and collect their cars. I don't imagine the team bus drops them off individually.

Hate to say it but they just did not look prepared. The game just past them by right from the start. They just went through the motions.

I’d be surprised if the players don’t have some kind of post match warm down, rather than just jumping into a car and heading home.

Granted coach would have been preferable after all that warm down is finished. Sounds like the flying is just a guess, they’d still have to jump on a coach when they get off the plane anyway.

I think I’ll rely on Pellegrini knowing what he’s doing than and wild suppositions on here!

If the players aren't tough enough for that sort of schedule we better pray we don't get into Europe where you regularly play the Thursday/Sunday schedule and with much longer away trips.

Pelligrini said they got back at 2am.
Probably the same time as Carroll after his sister in laws wedding.
2hrs max from Southampton at that time of night on a coach.
Probably with several massage tables on board too.
Pellegrini screwed up with formation and playing 2 up front, Arnautovic was never going to extend his dodgy hamstring.
Perez never going to stretch that bit further as seen in that wonderful cross by Antonio early on.

i was trying to work out how they took so long- whats the betting they flew and because of the fog they couldnt take off? I was home with a beer in my hand in west london at 1145

What other leagues do you regularly watch which you think are better?

I'm not talking about Barcelona vs Real Madrid, I'm talking about watching the likes of Eibar vs Leganes, get much out of those games do you?

Was the Perez thing just after Burnley scored because I went for piss at that point and it wasn't on MOTD ?

A lesson for next time if we have similar fixtures.
Should have stayed in Southampton overnight had a light recovery session in the morning and then flown straight to Burnley International Airport (that’s a thing right?).
This is the time of the year you need another 5 (or 10) extra players available to switch in.
Also not to be playing consecutive away games at either end of the country against a team that has had an extra days rest

I saw that, what a tosser. Then cried when someone criticises him.
He gives 9 out of ten when we win 2-1 to half the team
He reacts like a 9 yr old in his ratings

67,
Hopefully a few of our long term injured will be returning soon.
I'd like to be more pessimistic but I'd rather not, well not just yet.I reckon we'll finish in the top half and realistically build on that.Considering the last decade turmoil we've endured we just might be going somewhere.

Agree jfk mate Spurs got beaten at home by Wolves I dare say their supporters are not impressed but just at this time of year you need a tidy big squad. We have something like 30% +of our squad injured
