WINTER BREAK THIS SEASON
There will be a winter break for the first time, although there will still be Premier League games on both weekends of it. Five games will be played on the weekend of 8 February, with the other five on the following week. All the games will be shown on TV.
That means all 20 clubs will get two weeks off between Premier League games, although teams will not discover which weekend they will play on until December

You’ve already proved our attack is good enough for the top 8 by highlighting we scored more goals than our rivals.
Was the defence good enough? No
Has it been improved upon? No
Antonio, Yarmolenko and Ajeti were all on the bench. That’s more than enough.

Jesus... I'm going to try one more time. In last seasons squad we didn't have even 1 am except lanzini who was injured for the whole season. It was unclear whether he could regain his form, therefore it became clear we need another am. Fornals is a player that can cover am as well as both flanks and can even play in deeper role. Also, if we didn't get fornals our bench would consist of only 2 attacking players : yarmolenko (who's not even fit) and chicharito. Where is the cover for felipe and lanzini? Do you really don't understand or you're just being a cunt?

Bolster the one area we have plenty of cover to safeguard against injuries ?

Also, every top 10 team last season had 8+ first team players featuring in at least 30 games while we had 3 or 4.

That's exactly the reason why he was brought in goose. He can play multiple postions as well as lanzini so that's why they are playing together.. it's not that hard come on..

We did "ok" last season result-wise but we seriously lacked creativity and if felipe got injured at some point we would have finished way below 10th imo. That is also why I think Pellegrini already proved his quality. I mean we had noble, snodgrass and antonio starting for most of the season and we managed to score 52 goals (more then wolves and leicester) and finish 10th.

in isolation you can, but not when you realise how little money he had to work with.
re lanzini, he was missing for lots of last season and we still did okay without him. the medical team would have plenty of time to asses him. he would know 100% about the state of his knee and his performance.
and anyway, Fornals & Lanzini have always been on the pitch together so that completely dispels the idea of one replacing the other.
