As we improved substantially after Fuka got himself sent off , maybe we should stick with two banks of four and two forwards when playing away

Lanzini has played wide for us, a lot.
Him bullying Lovren wide on his first start and then centering it for Noble's goal at Anfield is burned in my memory. I would guess it is for most of us.
Not sure he offers more defensively in the centre than Wilshere or Fornals, especially, so can't see a bigger problem there. If it comes to a physically battle, we will probably lose it with any of those players.
I would still go with Fornals but Wilshere is an option. He has played in a lot big games in his career.

Of course I realise as I wouldn't be suggesting tighening things up would Iif it was just gonna be a like for like replacement. As for the second bit that would be why the manager gets paid 8 mil a year. I'm just saying that we are open, also doesn't help that the mentioned 3 don't track back much.

you do realise that Wilshere & Yarmolenko play in two completely different positions right?
or you wanna shift Lanzini out wide and have a central 3 of Noble, Rice & Wilshere?

We do seem to be open and play as a counter attacking side, now wondering if the 3 of Lanzini, Yarm and Anderson is one too many of that type of player? if Wilshere was fit maybe he would be starting ahead of Yarm? Maybe should have kept Cullen?
Fancy we will need to be tighter for Sunday.

He didn't dive (in my view). He slipped.
Likewise Fred, simply ran himself off his legs.
Neither incident was a dive or a penalty.

There are also a number of players who don't get booked for diving, because of who they are/who they play for.

There can't be too many players out there who have at least 2 bookings for simulation in the last few years.
That new welsh lad at Man united has 2 bookings for diving already this season i believe

Noble loves to buy a freekick, he does it all over the pitch. I agree that it one of the traits of his game that I don't like... basically if / when he gets himself in a position where he can't go anywhere he just goes down. 90% of the time he gets the decision.

I'd have loved it had he "won" that penalty and we got the 3 points.
It still doesn't mean he didn't dive. He did. He's a diver. Along with Lanzini and Antonio (I don't want to be seen to single Noble out here).
I can count at least 2 times where Noble has been booked for diving in the last few years. There can't be too many players out there who have at least 2 bookings for simulation in the last few years.

Seems people with a certain level of football knowledge can tell exactly what is going on in a player’s mind when he falls over in the box. If Mr Dean had sent Noble off with a second yellow they would have been able to settle all possible controversy and leave us all gasping at the superiority of their insight.

Its cos ive played the game i know it was a dive or he was looking for it
He shuffled the ball through miles in front of him as he done it at pace to try and get the contact
He never had any intention on getting on the end of his own 'shuffle' If you look there is no contact so how did he go down?
