I agree, we should hold them to 3 or 4

Makes me nostalgic for Titi Camara this post.

The thing is Max we threw away more points this season then any one else. A lot of thing fucked up from top to bottom - the board , the Manager(s) ( you could also add " the Director of Football") and the over paid useless twat who call themselves "professional" football players! PISSED OFF really PISSED OFF.

Hammered, they all made mistakes didn’t they. The goals all came when two mistakes combined.
Diop and Ogbonna were closest and did not head out the corner and then Fabianski punched it into Ogbonna for a goal.
Masuaku’s boot up field was knocked with little control or threat towards goal and Ogbonna and Diop were just incredibly useless.
Somehow with Soucek, Cresswell and Masuaku on the left they got the ball down to the the line with Masuaku to slow to stop the cross, which Ogbonna, Diop and Fredericks did not deal with, I think it went through Fredericks legs twice, once to arrive with Murry and then the shot.
The thing that really fucks me off is at times we looked really good for the win and 3 points. Sickening.

On a more positive note Man City are looking vulnerable against Tottenham!

Could be a shocker next week.

Saw those pigeons grazing in our attacking area for most of the second half.
Thought it was one that Matt Ryan came out and stamped on

But it was a black balloon
I think

Other then Masuaka, also I blame Fredericks for the second goal. He just stood while Gross Bombed forward to capitalised that defensive error . Fredericks was about 10 -15 feet closer to Masuaka intended pass back the Gross but the idiot was ball watching rather then being aware of Gross putting pressure on Masuaka. Any defender worth his salt should cover for defensive partner if he sees danger and if he's closest to it.

The Black Balloon and the pigeon should be our new strikeforce.

Good positional sense.. Different strengths. Mobile, instinctive, agile, and nippy.

The sight of those pigeons hopping around there because the ball hadn’t been up there in so long was a mark of how embarrassingly shit we were yesterday.

I might have mistaken one of the pigeons for the black balloon in fairness, as I was in the upper tier of the Brooking stand, and had forgot my binoculars.

Still more mobile than Haller.

For about the last five minutes of yesterday’s game, the only attacking threat we had in their half were two pigeons.

Cheers, Moysie son.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread
The problem yesterday was two of the worst bits of defending you are ever likely to see!

Masuaka can’t clear the ball without creating chaos that our two CBs couldn’t deal with! The third ball shouldn’t have even got through to Murray pathetic defending! The first goal was a foul on Fab an should have been picked up by VAR

If our players can’t stop that shit happening were fucked!

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread
Moyes did a lot of things wrong yesterday, but I can’t blame him for taking Antonio off- he was knackered and we cannot risk him injuring himself.

The problem was that he brought a defender on. Granted the squad is so badly balanced and compromised by injury there wasn’t much choice, but at least stick him up the pitch to be an outlet. He’s quick and can run with the ball. As soon as Antonio went off we had no outlet or pace or attacking presence which was a huge factor in our downfall. As was going ultra defensive. It was 9 men back and Haller up front. We were never getting out of our own half. The change should have been Noble or Soucek off and Fornals on.

I can understand taking Antonio off to protect him, but I can’t understand any of the other decisions he made. Even the starting line up was way too defensive.

You think we should give pelters to a goalkeeper who has made his first real mistake in nearly 2 years at the club, and even then it technically should've been a foul?

You're a bit of an idiot sometimes, son.

I don't know why people are digging Moyes out, he wins thing you know

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread
Agreed about potters subs - he could see where we were weak and exploited it. Moyes then played straight into his hands by taking Antonio off - there were so many better options with a 2 goal lead and 15 minutes to go.

He could have brought on Zabaleta and pushed fredericks up a bit to tighten up down the right. He could have freshened the centre of midfielder with fornals. He could have brought balbuena on to go three centre backs and five at the back. He could have brought ajeti on for haller.

He took off the one player who needed to stay on and brought on the second worse sub he could have for keeping possession (at least he left sanchez on the bench).

Then even at 3-2 he didn’t change anything. They were all over us. A sub would have given us a breather. Most managers break the game up with a sub when under the cosh and defending the lead. But he waited until the last 5 minutes and then brought on lanzini with fornals to make us even more lightweight. It made no sense at all.

Bizarrely he even said after the game that fatigue from the Liverpool game played a major part and yet both noble and rice played 90 minutes in both! If you notice the fatigue but do nothing about it, that’s not helpful at all

Not only will they not sack Moyes, i very much doubt they'll sack him in the summer either even if we do go down.Hes already said that he doubts he'll bring his backroom staff in until the summer so he's obviously expecting to be going nowhere.

Its like the club are already planning for championship football next season.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread ings scratching his chin with
The only way we will say up is if they admit their mistake, which is never going to happen, and sack Moyes. He should never have even entered the equation when they sacked Pellegrini, which was the correct decision.

Lumbered with a yesterday man who has no real idea of what the premier league is like nowadays. His tried and trusted methods may have worked 10 years ago but not anymore.

He cant be held accountable for the awful individual errors that assisted two of Brightons goals yesterday, one of which did not include any involvement from a Brighton player, but he is completely to blame for the substitutions and the set up in the second half.

We could be 6 points adrift of safety after the next two games and I say could only because the other teams may not win because we are losing the next 2 games by 3 or 4 nil with Dour Dave standing scratching his chin and having no clue what to do to prevent it.
