Hearts (Prod) and Hibs (Catholic) are a dull echo of the Rangers and Celtic sectarians.

Being free of this shit is one of the advantages English football has over Scottish football.

Am sure Hearts and Hibs have hated each other for all sorts of reasons.
Just thought in such a dull league they will miss playing each other to display that hatred.

An absolute farce.

Hearts were only 4 points adrift with 8 games to go and 7 of those games would have been against teams in the bottom half.

Patrick were only 2 points adrift with a game in hand.

Both were pressured to go along with the original vote to end the season as the SFA were saying many clubs would go bust if they didn't and they promised to look into a restructuring of the league so instead of having 4 leagues with 12, 12, 10 and 10 they would look at 3 leagues with more teams in each.

Hearts are one of only 5 teams in the whole of Scotland who can get gates of more than 15k.

Awful league.

In 1997 the then owner of Hearts made an unsuccessful takeover bid for Hibs with the intention of putting them out of business.
There has been real hatred from the Hibs fans ever since then.

I spent a fair deal of time in the Land of the Scotch over the years, even had time to watch them play some games of their equivalent to our football.

It's very similar to our game in many ways only less good.

What with VAR, no fans and every other anti-fan introduction to the game it must take a truly committed fan to continue going to watch the Scotch version.

Surely if you are a Hibs fan the derbies against Hearts are the only exciting parts of the season?
