An enjoyable game, should have been a nice feeling about the club going into the 2 week break and those 3 cunts have as usual sucked the joy out of it.

Looking at our transfer activity, the last two magnificent games may have got us relegated...

An alternative to anderson? Surely we have someone that can do fuck all and occasionally pass a ball backwards 5 yards

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
If a team is sitting in surely 3 at the back with the wing backs pushing right up as wingers to provide width is more effective than switching to a back 4?
If the team is defending and not coming out at all trying to hold on you might throw on an additional striker or attacker (Haller , Yarmolenko)for a centre half

That said if Anderson is going out we need another alternative
We are still unbalanced and don’t have an alternative to the likes of Rice or Antonio
That’s not going to be addressed by 11pm by the cretins

Thats true Mad Dog. We had a couple of chances first half, missed them and they scored before half time and shut up shop. We got nowhere their goal 2nd half despite dominating possession. Having said that Burnley at that stage were doing that to a lot of teams.

But it may well mean us having to play a different system which is why you need depth and quality in all positions. We dont have that and Sullivan is making sure that remains the case.

Sir alf. The Burnley game springs to mind where we had absolutely no plan b

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Will be interesting to see how we do in the first where the opposition tries to play a similar way and we dominate possession and they counter against us. Can we break down teams that like we have been doing, are well organised , sit 10 behind the ball and counter.

We have struggled with that for some time. We will not be faced with that problem for 4 or 5 games and even Fulham like to keep possession.

That''s where the squad has to be used but ours is paper thin and with holes in it for certain positions.

Totally agree that us slipping under the radar this weekend is perfect, the last thing we need is weeks of hype. Didn't do Leicester much good

I remember seeing Fornals playing for the Spanish u-21s and he looked the dog's bollocks. I just think he's taken some time to settle in and we are now seeing him maturing into something special.

fraser - All true, plus Holland plays there, if he's still alive that is.

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
We don't need a flying winger on the left with that formation as Masuaku was playing there, Fornals was more central due to that.

Plus Antonio and Bowen both taking up those wide positions when breaking.

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Magnificient performance, but the football gods chose to put it on a day when it competed for neutrals' attention with what happened to ManU and the Champions.

On balance, that's a bloody good thing.

Let us creep up on people for bit. Football's an odd game, where you seem to be able to be underestimated long after you've proven you're not to be underestimated.

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Was amazed Fornals finished the goal, he usually cant hit a barn door. I still dont think he is amazing but the goals and assists last 2 games you cant argue with

Long term though we need to turn him into a no 10 through the middle. A flying winger on the left is what we're missing......could/should of been Grady

Hope Anderson departs on loan today, id rather Snodgrass on the bench or even Xande Silva

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Outstanding performance, everyone was a 9/10 minimum.

Oggy outstanding but across the board it was a really good performance to watch. I was buzzing all of yda on back of it.

We always seem to have some momentum behind us before Spurs.......feeling confident going into a game usually acts as a reverse indicator for us

That made me crack up. :-)

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Masuaku and Cresswell seem to have found a new lease of life now that they can play where they are strong, so Fornals has taken up a more central role picking up Cresswell's lobs out of defence.

That's not a combination easy to play against - happy days!
