..is he the unluckiest player we've ever had at the club? Never seems to get a chance to get a run going - now he's out with covid isolation. Aways picks up daft injuries- after the restart he tweaked his shoulder and was out for weeks , etc
Bigger question is will he ever settle here? I think he's time is over - lots of promise but moyes nust be looking beyond him now,?

Sven - agreed. Coufal is doing a great job at either RB or RWB, Johnson is good cover, and young Ashby looks like a great prospect but I think he's still injured. So Fredericks is surplus to requirements and should be sold to raise funds for much needed reinforcements in other areas. My only reservation is that he is good mates with Declan, so I hope if he goes it wouldn't hasten Declan's departure. That sort of thing shouldn't matter, but you never know.

Coufal is obviously first choice and for me Ben Johnson is back up. There is the young lad Ashby (?) also coming through
I’d have Fredericks on the ‘for sale’ list with Haller, Yarmolenko & Snodgrass to release funds & wages for better players.

We are actively scouting a replacement for him - but expect movement in the summer.

Dean Ashton must be the unluckiest player we’ve had. He was on the cusp of being one of England’s great modern strikers before he was struck down.

With the exception of his pace, he's not really that good
