LB, remarkable how after a poor start to the season how quickly things changed, like flicking a switch. Moyes gets Covid or was isolating can’t remember and suddenly we had a team who had energy, could compete and were playing for each other. For me it was the attitude of Soucek and Bowen that rubbed off on the others.

Superb - don't know what I'm enjoying most - the spirit in the team, the fight, the quantity of the football we are playing or the fact our Manager knows exactly what he's doing.
I really don't want this season to end

Thierry Henri made a good point when he said Moyes now has the option of different line ups against different opposition of which I can't remember this club having that option. On the front foot like last night the ball players did extremely well, but as well as he did there are games where Lanzini for instance would get outmuscled at number 8. Good to have these options though.

Ray Stewart on CnH says Dec should be on the bench against Everton.
If Dec is 100% fit he surely plays,he's been our best player over the course of the season. He brings the best out of Soucek and that could be the difference against Everton,clearly a better team than Burnley. They are still in with a chance of CL place too so will be going for it.
How we set up will be crucial.
Can Lanzini play instead of Fornals and still give the energy that Fornals does ?
Can Benrhama play as well or better his performance during Ramadan,he won't be able to have a bite to eat during the game this time as it'll still be daylight.

This team was designed to get 3 points...Antonio ...back Cresswell back and Dawson....and Bennie...Noble out and Lanzini in...Holy Moly..what is going to happen. Moyse is finally.."going for it" For all who say we are too defensive this was their Big moment...Would Bennie do well or not....???

Could have been 4 - 1 or 4-2...Great to see...

Really good attacking performance, although I am beginning to think that we need to score at least score two against the lesser sides and three or four against the better sides if we are to get a win.
Diop looks less than confident in anything he does and Dawson has an error waiting to happen. The absence of Rice in front of these two obviously exposes them on more occasions.
I think Moyes deserves a lot of praise for his tactics given the players available. He obviously also thinks we need to score a few to win

What's happened to COYI, was calling people cunts the other week for being stupid enough to think Moyes would pick Benrahma ahead of Bowen...
Obviously refrained from posting when he saw the team news.. But was waiting for him to misplace a pass before he posted.
Unfortunately by the time he did at the end of the first half he'd been our best player..

It looks like it took some time to get the message through to him that he needs to stop looking for a hail mary pass or a wonder strike to get the limelight and just play the game. He was superb last night, dropping deep and breaking attacks up, then transitioning to forward play really quickly without giving the ball away.
I'd definitely keep him.

Agree with others about Lanzini... perhaps we should be looking to keep him for next season. I can see him playing that deeper role in Europe next season, so composed on the ball and I can't remember him giving the ball away once.

Yep Cresswell was a beast last night, worked his socks off and often isn't credited with the amount of aerial battles he wins. But his positioning and build up play is as good or better than any in that team.
