To think we had the highest record for hitting the post/cross bar more time then any other team this season - 21 fucking times, that enough for us to go second!

In order to get into Europe, Everton had to beat us (not just us, of course).
Pretty sure the game would have opened up by the midway point of the second half, if not earlier, if it still had been 0-0.
That would have been our opportunity to notch a couple...

If Agureo moves to Chelsea than it would look like that penalty miss might have been on purpose, he will get more money playing in the champions league.

Fabianski should and could have done better with there goal . He also puts he defence under pressure by not coming off his line to collect crosses, Lingard played deep hoping to pick the ball up and run at Everton but they closed him out every time, and Antonio drifting out wide made no sense at one point there was Antonio, Lingard and Bowen all out on the right with no one in the middle.

Erm, Pickford saved an effort from Lingard in the second half? Although it wasn't going all that fast but eh time it got to Pickford, my guess is that it would have gone in.

Made to many errors and poor decisions lately.
The defence is no doubt missing Ogbonna and Rice. We are overplaying it when attacking like Arsenal a few seasons ago. Trying to walk the ball in the net, and when in good positions to shoot we're either looking for another pass or trying cross come shots that don't achieve either, or trying to curl the ball into the corner of the goal when just wellying it at the goal might be more productive.
Too many similar players upfront IMHO, need a goal poacher to put more chances away as we've mostly been wasteful in front of goal. Also need to work on shooting in training and being a bit more direct again.

That's not the entirety of what I wrote, is it?
You've cut that sentence short to make a contrived point - I said the battle now is to finish above Liverpool, who will go above us if they win their game in hand, plus Spurs and Everton.
All of them are closing in on us. We've lost three out of four games and are stuttering - the battle now is staying ahead of the teams (multiple) breathing down our necks and with momentum.

COYI - he's still making a fair point: that people (including you, with your Benrahma obsession) place a lot of emphasis on attacking players etc, when the reality of the Premier League remains that solid defensive work takes you further.
Quite a few sides, and fans, still don't get it. So while it might not be the most insightful prose, it's still worth a reminder far more regularly than banging on about one slightly below-par winger.
