Watching the game yesterday and I thought Yarmolenko was terrible giving the ball away, then he gets a goal and wins a penalty.
Also how the hell didn't Bowen score.

Would be good to test some of the youngsters in what is - for Zagreb - a must win game.
Not sure if we're allowed to do that under the rules of the competition - presumably there will be something about the integrity of the competition / squads named in the rules ...........?

A good solid, performance by virtually our 2nd team who never had to go out of 2nd gear. Nice to see Sonny Perkins come on and nearly score with his first touch. Our future looks bright.

Thought Yarmalenko had a really good game. Yes he is limited with pace and very one footed but when he lost the ball he battled to win it back, he was more sensible with his passing in our half and did run his legs off. I even saw him chasing back the length of the pitch late in the second half as they broke on us. He didnt catch the guy but it at least put pressure on him. Deserved to stay on for 90 mins.
Also thought Noble had a good game on the ball. Corners aside he did play some good balls forward that caused issues. He struggled early as the opposition were energetic but became more influential as they tired.
Really comfortable performance and what a European journey so far.

I know its not real but listened to a podcast and a question was posed....
Would you rather...
West Ham finish 4th and win the FA Cup and Rice leaves at the end of the season
or
Finish 5th and Rice stays another 5 years?
I am waving good bye and hope Moyes spends wisely on replacements

Moved much for than in the corresponding fixture and as Kenzo says you know what you get with him.
Pleased to see him score and play on many levels but one of those levels is shop window for January.

He did ok, but you know what you get with him, gives the ball the away, doesn't break a sweat. He has a wand of a left foot, that much is true but i would prefer to see something different in a dead rubber game.

Yes, Yarmolenko did OK, got onto a fantastic far post ball to score and has basically found his level.
Maybe Spurs will take him on in the window.
