Could be a shrewd signing. But apparently not going to happen.

This is what we need another SLOW AS FUCK player in the squad. Our squad is almost as slow as Moyes' tactical thinking. Get this prick out of here, he's fucking useless. Why are we even considering letting this cunt squander more money on absolute fucking dross.

Good at heading the ball away - which is not in the top twenty of our greatest weaknesses.

Can we get in somebody called McGuinn as well - then no one could get us higher...

Re: Harry Maguire

Yes would take him on loan
But wouldnt add any much needed pace to our backline and doesnt address the much much bigger issues at both full backs and a no 10/out wide player

He'd do a great job here . Problem is the cunt in charge you could give him the entire Brazil 1970 world cup winning side and he'd still find a place for cresswell.

Cat - Ffs, chill out fella, and do you have this weeks lotto numbers?
Maguire was heavily linked with Villa just recently, so wonder why that didn't come off? We would be getting in England no 1 CB, at least as far as Waistcoat is concerned anyway, and he would clearly improve us massively. He is done at Manu so a loan move to us may well appeal to him as he will want to play.

Ive always quite liked him to be honest especially the way he could bring the ball out of defence. Good in the air in both boxes and seems a decent fella Limitations on the deck against pace but overall could be a good signing if we can afford his wages.

I’m not sure if Ogbonna will ever be the same player again after his last serious injury. Luizaro is in the development squad.
We can still buy/loan attacking players.

Zouma Aguerd Dawson Ogbonna Kehrer Luizao
We’ve got more than enough Centre Backs.
Harry Maguire isnt going to win us games.

Re: Harry Maguire

We’re not stacked with centre backs. Zouma is injured. Aguerd has been injured most of the season. Dawson wants to leave. Kehrer has been awful.
Of course, we can still go for players in other positions. I would like to think we won’t be limiting ourselves to one signing.
As a temporary stopgap solution, I’ve got no problem with getting Maguire on loan.

Re: Harry Maguire

Why are we wasting our time with this? We have gaping holes in other parts of the field that need addressing. Centreback is our most stocked position at the moment. He would undoubtedly cost more than dawson and would drain resources for other badly needed upgrades. We are 6th in the league on goals conceded. The struggle is going forward, and I don't see how this improves that

England Maguire is more than welcome.
Man U Maguire would help us go down.
It could be like a defensive Lingard loan. Really good for us and the player.
