It will be interesting to see what the crowd will be for this and maybe give some idea as to what the bowl will be like should we be playing in the championship next season

Will this be the same as the last time they called off a strike, but then none of the lazy cunts turn up for work anyway so all trains were canceled?

Re: Conference home leg train strike
The RMT union has suspended all industrial action at Network Rail after receiving a new pay offer.

Members at the organisation, which employs maintenance workers and signallers, were due to walk out on 16 March alongside train company staff.

If workers employed by train companies do take part in strikes from16 March, there will still be disruption.

But the impact is likely to be less extensive than if Network Rail were also on strike.

Anyone know how the 15th march tube strike will affect the 16th?

Apparently we could face Anderlecht again. Nothing to stop us playing a team we played in the group stage.

I don't want Larnaca, Sheriff or Lech Poznan just because I want an easy away trip.

I don't think we'll win the whole thing so not bothered about drawing the easiest team. With Moyes we won't beat any of the decent teams left in it.

Re: Conference home leg train strike
I was just thinking away legs which would be 8pm say Larnaca and then 1am there.

It'll be one of the tough teams though I reckon..

Re: Conference home leg train strike
I believe the earlier games are 5.30 UK time, so 12.30 in 'Nam.

Re: Conference home leg train strike
Will be 3am if 8pm here .. Somewhere with a 2 hour difference at 1am is perfect..

Manuel 10:02 Fri Feb 24
Re: Conference home leg train strike
Ah, got ya. Would be 12.30am KO in 'Nam I believe.

Re: Conference home leg train strike
No I don't care what time the last 8 is as I'll be in UK time its the last 16 I won't and don't want to be watching at 3am.. I'll be in Vietnam

Re: Conference home leg train strike
If you want to see us play in a knockout round and you are away for this next tie, then won't that be the last 8??

fraser 9:49 Fri Feb 24
Re: Conference home leg train strike
Manuel - This will be last 16 though

Re: Conference home leg train strike
fraser - I stand corrected, but I think once down to the last 8 the earlier KO times disappear.

Manuel 9:43 Fri Feb 24
Re: Conference home leg train strike
Sarge - Won't they just move one to a Wednesday? Really not sure you can 'punish' a club, who would freely accept it, after they have rightly qualified to play at home in the second just based of logistics in fucking Rome.

Re: Conference home leg train strike
I'm away for both legs of this, so hoping for an easy tie as really want to see us play in a knock out round.

One in a different time zone and an earlier kick off would be better too.

Sarge 9:31 Fri Feb 24
Re: Conference home leg train strike
You may be right Nutskin but whoever gets lazio will need to move the first leg at least.

Both roma and lazio both meant to be at home for a first leg game - Roma in the Europa.
