Agreed penners, time the FA followed Rugby and stopped clocks for injuries and major stoppages and then played 90 mins full stop! Too easy for refs to influence results and just look how many goals have been scored in added time this season?

blatently a foul on the keeper, blatently a red card for nolan's tackle
however, the ref gave everything else to them including 5 mins injury time from someone, so it all evens up in the end

Well i've watched it a good few times this morning and IMO Faubert knew what he was doing and took out the goalkeeper.
Swings and roundabouts and all that.
Great finish though ;-)

I know enough about football to know it wasn't a foul, just a collision between two players committed to going for the ball
I also know enough to realise it would usually be given as a foul, albeit incorrectly, in this namby-pamby football world in currently find ourselves in.

Goalkeeper jumped & threw himself at the ball..faied to get hold of it...thumps into Faubertand decides to stay on the ground hoping for a cheap foul from the ref...he didn't get it...and Red slammed it in for a great goal...
Never a foul on the GK...he just didn't do his job properly...!!!
Well done Faubert & very well done Reid...!!!

Why is it a foul then?
The keepers already punched it, he's gone into Faubert who at that point is stood still, and the keeper would never have got up in time to keep out Reids shot.
