Fraser I disagree about the World Cup final it was the players especailly the Dutch who bottled playing football against Spain as they were inferior , they went out with a view to kick the shit out of the spaniards and they got what they deserved in terms of the result and bookings

He didn't have a great World Cup but it was a very, very difficult game to referee.
As I said earlier, all referee make mistakes and have good and bad games.
However Webb is the best in this country so is the best one for the game.

I watch very little world football but he must be considered one of the best officials in the world to have got the last World Cup Final and games like the Champions League final and semi finals.

Webb might favour Blackpool as Northerners.
On the other hand he might favour us because he is from Yorkshire and they are Lancashire.

Most people will agree, as few fools won't pointing to a game 2 seasons ago they didn't actually see as proof of something or the other.

Having not seen either game I have no idea if he was right or had a good game booking 9 in the semi between Cardiff and Leicester a couple of seasons ago.
If you can then fair play although I'm betting you either didn't see it or can't remember it and have merely taken it as a stat to try and back your point of view.
