I think Peter Wittingham could be a great signing. Good creative player from the lower leagues who has a point to prove at the highest level. Great set piece taker aswell.

Coker noooo thx.
He went missing in his last season with us at a time when he was needed. Good engine but for me, aside from a questionable attitude and level of commitment, simply lacks the technique to be considered. Passing is erratic, he cannot cross it, runs down blind alleys and besides we need to recruit some midfielders who can score a few goals and give us width. He does not fit our requirements in any way shape or form right now and especially on the money he and his agent think he's worth.

Agree with others - No to NRC
The club were lucky to get £8.5 million for a very average, one dimensional player...not that they spent the money well - the fools
If we were to sign an ex-player i'd go for Kieran Richardson and keep him on the left side of midfield/attack where he belongs - none of this utility man shit where Sunderland play him every position except the one he is best at!
Him - and the 5 players I mentioned in my previous post...

5 off the top of my head...who i reckon could be useful
1 - Nathaniel Clyne (Palace)
2 - Scott Dann (Blackburn)
3 - Roger Johnson (Wolves)
4 - Andy Taylor (Cardiff)
5 - Jordan Rhodes (Huddersfield)
I know 2 & 3 have had a shocking season at both clubs but together they were superb...with a coach like BFS who was a centre back and Wally Downes they could be a bargain...
As you can see, I've priotised defensive strengh in depth - I'm pissed off at putting round pegs in square holes at Premiership level - that is what gets us in the shit most of the time - we need 8 players 2 for each position - bottom line!

Alex it does not matter at all to me.
I do not think that he is as good as he thinks he is.
Let's see where he fetches up this season because if he remains in the premiership it will be with a relegation battling team at best IMHO.
