Do you know anyone who's been murdered?

I didn't, until yesterday when a friend was killed by an intruder. Apparently, he got up sometime during the night, having perhaps heard someone in the house. He then seems to have chased them into the garden. where he was found with two stab wounds in the neck.
I can't get the image out of my mind. Horrible.

My Irish grandmother claims she 'had an idea' something bad would happen if the family moved to Liverpool, and insisted on moving to the South instead. Then the house in Liverpool got bombed.
I know a young adult couple who were involved in a car crash together, not knowing each other, and became Man and Wife.
If the British Government had listened to me in 2004: they'd have saved the UK taxpayer >£24bn, 100,000 jobs and possibly several lives .. as well as my relationship.
8 years on and we are still counting the cost as a nation, and me personally.
And I wish to get the memory of my first marriage(s) to Corinne Sawers (accountant from Reading AND an exotic lady) out of my head...

A friend from work's 19 year old girlfriend was murdered by an intruder who climbed in through a bathroom window at her parents house, sexually assaulted her, then strangled her. Mid 80's in Selsdon, near Croydon, quite a big case at the time.

I was involved in a serious car crash when I was 17 which normally would have killed or seriously injured a person, but amazingly walked away without a scratch.
Still wonder even now if I did indeed die & am now in another dimension or reality. Deep eh?

Weird isn't it, makes you wonder if it's fate or just luck &.makes you realise how finely balanced it all is.
I am still furious that the spineless PC obsessed Labour government let the (alleged) Lockerbie bomber out early so that he could spend the last few years of his life at home!

Lucky man and woman. It's amazing how often this synchronistic event seems to happen. The fickle finger of fate maybe, or something more deliberate, who knows?
I do know that I have been in the right place at the right time, which has been to my good forune. I haven't experienced avoiding some horrific event by the skin of my teeth but that whole concept makes me think!

I know someone who was supposed to have been on the Lockerbie flight. She was driving down from Manchester, but got caught in traffic and missed the flight...
I was supposed to have been at the exact place the Harrods bomb went off, and at the exact time, but the car wouldn't start...
