Who are our main rivals, seems a lot on here class the 4x2's as our main rivals , but me and I suspect a few of the old school it's Millwall .

Spurs are beneath us. They're not rivals, they're just comically deluded cunts that everyone laughs at. Millwall will always be our real rivals.

I agree that losing 4-1 to Millwll was one of the worst feelings I've ever had following West Ham, and that beating them last season felt good, but it felt more of a relief than anything else, because we really should beat that second rate turd of a club. It's more satisfying to stuff Tottenham 4-1 at WHL beacuse it's a much tougher match. Hotter the battle, sweeter the victory.
If our great escape, instead of begining with a 4-3 defeat a home to Tottenham, had begun with a man city like turn around with two quick goals after 90 mins, and we'd won 5-4, I'd say that would have been just as good, if not better, than beating an average Millwall 2-1.
Again, I have to point out that I feel there is a clear distiction in the kind of rivalries we have wth these two clubs. Agasint Tottenham, I feel all eyes are on the pitch more than ever; against Millwall all eyes are on their fans.

Football thing for me, beating those cunts with 10 men was the simply brilliant, a real buzz that football should give you. The emotion and passion of that game was what it's all about.
No other fixture comes close.....
Still I guess you need to be there.

Think it is an " age thing " but for me still see Spurs as " the enemy " as I was in my early teens when the anti Milllwall was rife
Still hate them though !.

Well because you posted this nonsense frankly.
The Millwall home game this season was the best atmosphere at Upton Park in years and years and it's not all thugs and wannbies. It was almost EVERY West Ham fan in that ground.
Why was it so good? Because they are our true bitter rivals, two sets of fans that consider each other to be their true rivals.
I look down this thread at the split and it seems to me the people I know that go week in week out consider it to be Millwall, the people that don't on the whole consider it to be Tottenham.
I've been to 13 West Ham v Millwall derbies, 36 West Ham v Tottenham derbies and not one Tottenham one has come close to being like other 13 between us and Millwall.
