I'm loving the Spain / barca backlash now, it's do predictable.
Everyone falling over themselves to suck them off a couple if years ago but now if a team has great technical players that keep the ball and move it around at pace and win games then they are boring and killing the game and everyone gets a boner when Chelsea play some of the poorest football ever seen and beat them.
I bet Fat Sam is finally feeling like his day has come and this is his time!

probably stay pretty neutral. It iritates me that France is a more successful football nation than us especially as on a whole there support for football is not big as compared to us and of course Spain.
However I certainly have a lot of french friends as I worked in Paris and Lyon in total for about 3 years.
I take it you are French xeneize???

No. I always side with Northern European teams over Southern. I find Medi types tiresome.

Thought Spain were boring against Croatia,not been entertained by them so far.The beat a very poor Irish team hands down but it wasn't entertaining.The Germans were much more efficient once they had to be against Greece.
Still if Spain play a their best they will be the most entertaining,I got a feeling they are going to show France how poor they are.
The best half of the tournament was 2nd half England - Sweden,four goals and many twists,nerve racking and an England win.
Germany have impressed me so far the most and they are getting better.
Portugal are coming good and could beat Spain.
I think we will beat Italy 2-1,Johnson and Rooney.

Chalkie - Im not sure that they have played the best football. Obviously they are a fantastic side, no arguments, but their form at this tournament hasnt been that good. I reckon Germany have been the best side so far.
PS France were godawful v Sweden and if they play the same tonight, Spain will win at a canter. Hope France improve

Of course, they are playing the best football at the tournament,plus a Porugal V Spain semi-final would be great
Chalkie I was in South Africa for the WC - I really looked foreward to round of 16 knock out between Spain v Portugal - it was the worst game of the tournamount I was really dissapointed - don't expect too much !

Spain haven't been playing the best football in the tournament, don't be silly.
Germany have.
I won't be supporting anyone else other than England, but I'm sure I'll enjoy the game.

I'm not French either but I'd prefer them to win out of the two as I like the French (controversial, I know...) and used to study out there.
