Using "lad" like people on here use "SON!" as in "Tom, lad." Sometimes before another sentence entirely. Unless you are from the north, and I mean proper north, this sounds ridiculous IMO.

"oh my days" seems to be the sheep favourite at the mo. I've heard it on a football pitch.
I've seeen "Oh my days" used in the translation of Don Quixote. The translation was done in the midd 19th century.
