Scott Duxberry - Back in Football
The most useless man to ever be in charge of a football club.

Also, getting rid of Dyche is a bad decision on their part.

Be interesting to see how it all unfolds at Watford.

"If those three stay fit, it's Champions League!"

My all time favourite quote, ever.

Terry Brown doesn't have a mobile phone. He communicates by morse code.

Didit didatit dida da dit. ( which means : all the cunts that voted against the Bond scheme can go fuck themselves )

Re: Scott Duxberry - Back in Football
Hold on KIA Scott did bring in Nani he was the driving force. He told the owner it was a way of the club competing without having to invest in the same way they did under Eggy.

Granted he recommended the decision,he wasn't the chairmen who signed it off but he was pretty much running the club himself.

I do miss the lies though, I mean one of the classics was Lucas Neill not getting a new contract but paying Jimmy the same in wages!

Oh and saying " Zola doesnt need to sell anyone" as Upson and Collins were being hawked around like pieces of meat.

The DUX is right up there in my top-ten footballing hate-list.

I'd rather hear the fucking truth and tell the fans that we're financially fucked and have to sell our best players and replace them with youtngsters and freebies then put spin on it and invent some 'Project' bollocks that only the must gullible of people could believe.

Also, did the cunt ever admit any wrongdoings over the Tevez and Mascherano signings?...

Re: Scott Duxberry - Back in Football
They were all useless cunts but Duxbury loved to give silly interviews where he talked utter bollocks trying to cover up the fact we were fucked financially and needed to sell everyone. He called it the "Project".

To be fair to him though, seemed like most of WHO believed him, so perhaps he's not as stupid as he looks. Has he still got curtains?

Re: Scott Duxberry - Back in Football
truth is we've had wastefull/useless/robbing/lying people running the club for too long.

say what you will about the current lot, for now, we seem to being run professionally and in a solvent manner ( excluding the debt, of course..)

I JUST WISH WE'D STOP TRYING TO BUY PLAYERS ON THE CHEAP BIT_BY_BIT!

1. Agree target
2. Offer
3. Final offer
4, SHit or get off the.

Even my dearly departed Nan knows that all you have to do is not answer the phone when we come calling and the price will rollover!

Poor old Terry Brown.

Never had any money, but managed to get a big piece of WHU, and despite being an accountant, couldn't keep track of the swarthy yet clueless, can hardly even write or tie his shoelaces, Redknapp.

Then to add to his misery after bravely selling all WHU best players before and after relegating the club against the odds, a lawyer who he employed in good faith stitched the club up again. Costing it Millions.

He may have been the highest paid chairman in the premier league, but those guys were sneaky. Done him proper. Didn't see it coming.

Still, thankfully he walked away from the club earning more than 15 times the bank loan he took and has a life long spot on the board.

God bless that magnificent cunt.

No they weren't Lucas. terry brown asked him more than once was the south American deal watertight, he said yes.

He is a scoundrel of the highest order. Wait and see what happens at watford

Re: Scott Duxberry - Back in Football
Duxberry was held as the scape goat, and probably couldn't avoid that tag due to the fact that everyone else to blame was a lot higher than him.

I'm sure lots of people knew exactly what was happening. No need to be angry with anyone still, is there chaps?

Good luck to him at Watford I say!

Re: Scott Duxberry - Back in Football
Kia the real person behind the mess was Duxbury. He then compounded it by forcing Curbishley out, bringing in a completely inexperienced manager, telling the fans the club was stable and the banks weren't forcing them to sell players while hawking round every player possible and awarding himself a massive pay rise.

He was earning more than Brown ever was!
