MILAN - F.C. Internazionale announces that the documents relative to the cancellation of Lucio's contract by mutual consent have been deposited in the offices of Lega Serie A.
The Brazilian defender, whose contract ran until 30 June 2014, played 136 competitive matches in blue and black, scoring 5 goals. With the club he won one Scudetto, the Coppa Italia twice, 1 Italian Super Cup, 1 UEFA Champions League medal and 1 Club World Cup.
Everyone at F.C. Internazionale wishes Lucio and his family a fond farewell.

Inter are in transition and are trying to redevelop their squad, and getting rid of lucio is reducing there wage bill by €14 million over the next two years.

Nicey. no idea why to be honest. he was a champions league winning centre back with Inter a couple of years ago.
From the little info I have read, Inter have not had a very good 2 years and are having a bit of a clear-out.

What has he been up to for inter to allow him to leave without a transfer fee? Is he injured, on the gear, done a pardew (not sure if fletch plays for inter ) , massive cunt?
As for signing for us, isn't he a ball playing centre half and nut very African? Doubt we would look at him.

It's not a transfer.
