Sky Sports understands that Fulham and West Ham United have both made offers for FC Twente defender Douglas.
Sky Sports revealed earlier this week that Newcastle United had firmed up their interest in the Brazilian-born Douglas by lodging a bid.
But the Magpies have rival interest from the Premier League and we can confirm both Fulham and West Ham have tabled offers.
Douglas, 24, will gain Dutch nationality next month which means he will be able to play in the Premier League without any need for a work permit.
He has been linked with clubs in Italy and Germany, but it is believed he would relish the prospect of playing in England.

Thats an old video as Ruiz from Fulham was the guy sacrificed as a sub for another defender. Some of those quotes are from Newcastle fans as it seems Pardew wants him as well

It will be good to have a few nutters in teh team again.
This new French striker sounds a bit loopy and Morrison might be unpredictable. This Douglas is just the ticket (or not all teh ticket). All we need is for Georgie Moncur to do a better job at emulating his Dad and it could be quite entertaining. On teh otehr hand, winning games with 8 or 9 men aint that easy :)
