I thought the IMF backed the Tory cuts?
It's not turned out to be another Tory lie, surely?

The powers that be will not allow UKIP to progress anything beyond a token "alternative" party unless they can gain control of them - they have too much to lose.

Whilst the population may feel they have a choice, apathy and fear will jointly ensure the 3-party system remains until it's clear any opposition is, itself, a complete waste of time.

Still, X-factor, eh? Angry Birds, eh? Fuck me! Look at the tits on THAT! Part of me, that is! Don't bore me with politics - I'm going jiggy-jiggy tonight. See you when I come up for air.

UKIP may well cause the Tories to lose the next election as they will take away vital votes in marginals. So the smaller parties really can make a difference and be listened to.

mentor, I agree, but voting for a less estblished party is a waste of time. With proper PR, parties would be more loyal to their beliefs and reflect, more accurately, the opinion of the electorate.

Plenty of choice out there CRM.

Re: I thought the IMF backed the Tory cuts?
If you can't vote, you can't pass comment? I choose not to vote for either political party anymore because our ridiculous electoral system ensures both major parties water down their principles and ideologies in an attempt to win over a handful of key marginals.

I choose not to vote anymore because politicians are increasingly emasculated by the private sector with its vice-like grip on the economy. Thatcherism is alive and kicking, sadly; this is no longer a nation, it's a PLC.

Re: I thought the IMF backed the Tory cuts?
I pay mine so what's your point.

If you'd stalked me on here like mentor you will know that I have never voted for any political party in my life, it's a waste of time because they are all in it for themselves. The fact I take the Tories to task on here is because I think they are blinkered in their political beliefs and it irritates me.

I find it greatly amusing that you're living in the country which spent like there was no tomorrow and which people had an attitude that they didn't need to pay their taxes?

No propaganda at all, but would you have voted for ken, yes or no. Simple.

Re: I thought the IMF backed the Tory cuts?
Avoiding tax? I pay tax in my country of residence, what's wrong with that?

What's voting for Ken got to do with anything? You're obviously leading up to some right wing propaganda against him, you Tories love a bit of that.
