Seems we are not all that far away from each other in our thinking really where Piq is concerned!

As KIA has already said, if he didn't play he wouldn't get paid. He's just going through the motions.
I'd admire him if he knuckled down and tried to get to somewhere near the level of ability that he is/was capable of.
I do see your point though and there are many examples of players just not even bothering to do the basics any more.

Whats he supposed to do then Pagey, he clearly is out of favour at WHU, he was out on loan towards the back end of last season and is now back with 1 yr left on his contract with no offers in for him?
At least he is turning up for work & turning out for whoever he is told to train & play for, something very rare these days amongst professional footballers I am afraid.

The bloke is a useless piss-taking cunt who has merely plodded along on his lucrative contract.

Would have liked to have gone to this game but couldn't make it.
Good to hear KS did well.

Ahh..... performance is another question and I agree with KIA on his performance last night & today in that regard.

Frankly he was awful last night and I can't really see the point of playing him myself.
He's clearly not part of the 1st team squad anymore so we should either sort a loan for him now or pay him off.

I agree Huffers, personally I admired Piq for playing both yesterday evening & again today and for not being "billy big time" with the development squad players around him.

If Piquionne was a massive cunt then he wouldn't even play in these. He was given a 3 year contract, simple as. He isn't just going to up and leave is he...
He may not be good enough for our team but he hasn't acted like a prick like a few players in history.

I reckon making Piquionne play successive days against lowly opposition is more trying to humiliate the guy than make him work for his money. If he hasn't got the message by now that he's not wanted, then he is more thick-skinned than a crocodile. See you later alligator!

GOAL! West Ham 2-1. The Hammers take the lead, the goal again coming from Sadlier . He latched on to a clever flick from Turgott and slotted it past Hughes. Clever football from the East Londoners and great pace and composure from Sadlier.

What you remember is not what actually happens, I call each game as I see it. Did Piq play shit every game? No
It's as simple as that
Not sure what I have said on this thread that's two faced, playing 90 minutes for the stiffs and being made to play again today is clearly earning his money in my book.

GOAL! 1-0 West Ham United and it's that man Sadlier. Clever play from Dom Vose to burst into the box, draw Hughes off his line before cutting it back to Sadlier to tap in.
