Seriously though, we should try and get something into the national transfer rumour 'news' just by making it up on WHO. I'm sure it could be done even after a series of other similar pranks have embarrassed a few in the media.
Current champions of this for me are Sheffield Wednesday fans who made up an actual fictitious player, Terry Henfleet, and got the Sheffield Star to report that he'd been signed from Stoke after a few bad injuries had disrupted his prodigious career.
