I'd say Parker as well.

£7mil, 3 seasons of outstanding performances every week, hat-trick of HOTY awards, then sold him for £5mil when he was shot to bits.

Jumping on what bandwagon?

I was just explaining what he said seen as you obviously didn't understand the meaning of his remark from your reply to him. I wasn't being rude or aggressive.

But seen as you chose to act that way in response to me, it comes as absolutely no surprise that you wouldn't even have known Pardew signed Cole given your embarrassing lack of knowledge of our former managers. Obviously you didn't or you wouldn't have posted it.

Ahh yes you would jump on the bandwagon El.

I did actually know he was signed by Pards because I was a season ticket holder when he signed. I associated Cole with Curbs though and didn't think it through properly OK?

I just put in Carlton Cole for a joke but thanks for pointing out such vital information.

I don't think he means that. I think it's that Pardew signed Cole, which puts him before the Curbishley era meaning it's irrelevant to this discussion.

"Oh look Willtell fucks up another managerial era. :-)"

You are a weird person Snide. Did you really think I was serious that Carlton Cole was a candidate for best value at anything?

For those saying Vaz Te, then you may as well say CFC, as he got the first goal and set up the second and has done a lot more for the club overall than RVT ever did.

Parker is a good shout. Was a great player for us.

Vaz Te............ scored the goal that took us up, that goal got us in the premiership and probably saved us from being a championship club for a good while. The goal was worth millions

Mo Diame on a free was pretty good business. Got good use out of him before form decreased and then sold. PROFIT.

All clubs have terrible signings who contribute littel or nothing. Look how Spurs spent that Bale money. Or, Liverpool spent the Suarez money.

Van Gaals signings have hardly lit up the world either.
Chelsea seem to avoid the end of career, overweight, lazy pay check grabbing dross that we have brought in.
