Dispute with window cleaner
For years we had 1 guy do our windows, always good standard.

He sold his round off to a company and we're not overly impressed with the new guys.

Stains were left on windows and we waited for the next "clean" to see if they would sort the job out.

The same stains are on the same windows.

If I start having discussions with the window cleaner now, is he going to kick my head in and smash all my windows etc.

Are they still alll corrupt tax dodging gangsters???

Basically I'm going to cancel the round and not pay for the last clean.

Anyone had dramas before?

I complained to my Window cleaner and it was a big mistake, she made me do my own ironing for a fortnight and said I would have to go up the ladder myself if didn't like the job she was doing,

Re: Dispute with window cleaner
I had a very similar problem a few years ago and it really played on my mind for a long time.

After what seemed like months of agonising and endless sleepless nights I decided that something had to be said and I started to plan what I would say, why I would say it and what the possible consequences could be.

To say I was anxious was an understatement and as the moment of truth grew ever closer I started to have second thoughts. Was I doing the right thing? Will he be angry with me? What are the likely repercussions?

My heart was racing and my palms were sweaty. I took a deep breath, waited for him to finish the last window and I approached him.

"Can I have a word please mate?" I said.

"Of course, how can I help?" he replied.

"Sorry to be a pain but we're having a few financial difficulties at the moment and I'm going to have to stop using you until things change."

"No worries" he replied, "Just let me know if anything changes and we can start up again."

"Yeah thanks a lot mate."

"Hey, no worries, take care."

"You too, cheers."

"The questions I have asked are:

I didn't think so.

Yes. I cancelled my window cleaner after he persistently left smudges on the windows The following morning he murdered my wife with his squeegee and then pissed all over her French doors.

Don't take this decision lightly, is my advice.
