Albums without any shit tracks on them
|
Who's Next was released 44 years ago today.
A masterpiece. Not one duff track on it.
Even the Beatles always had at least one shitter per album.

It's all relative. It's merely a good track amongst great ones.

Das alte Leid on Herzeleid is rather sub-par.

Monk
Then forgetting it for a while, going back to it a few months later to discover SOMEONE ELSE (it must've been, couldn't possibly be me) has scratched it on my favourite part of my favourite track!

There was no greater joy than coming home with a new vinyl LP. It was a sensual experience long ago assigned to history.
The feel, smell and design of the cover, poring over the sleeve notes, following the lyrics on the inner sleeve, the mechanical touch of stylus on vinyl and playing the album over and over hearing previously unheard tracks until their order became ingrained on your brain.
Ah! Nostalgia.

Anyboby suggesting OK Computer has clearly managed to block out the abomination that is "Fitter Happier". How can anyone actually get any sort of pleasure listening to that?

Has anyone mentioned Kenny Thomas? I'm a bit pissed but he should get some Tesco vouchers or something.
