There is nothing free-spirited about bending over and lubing up for the likes of BJ, JRM and NF. Oh yes - you are Homo S, Crassus.

' it is not as if you were actually under the point of a gun'

My parents were as kids at the point of invasion, their parents resisted it, I and those of my ilk 'on the Thames' were raised in the deprived aftermath and value our freedom and how we have progressed thereafter

We, unlike you, are free spirited by birth DNA - confident, expressive islanders with vision and independence

We are the centre of time, the cradle of modern democracy, the birthplace of the industrial revolution and the digital age

We are embracing, accommodating and naturally generous of spirit - but don't doubt our spirit, not that you will ever understand it

Oh and bear in mind, it is ours and hitherto like minded, whose troops on your Eastern lands that give you the opportunity to slag us off

One thing that fascinates me about your like, Crassus - how the Soviets were able to create a perfect Homo in their mould in this green and pleasant land so far away from the Muscovy? I know it is all about feeding the self-hatred and the weakest, most selfish reactions but bloody hell, it is not as if you were actually under the point of a gun.

How did they turn you into Homo sovieticus on Thames?

OR:

Government is there to run the institutions that allow YOU and people like YOU to get on with YOUR lives and make YOURSELVES useful for each other.

As we appear to be doing, post Brexit? The Brexit which the majority of the UK (however unpallatble that may seem to you) voted for?
Or is a vaccination rate tenfold that of the paradise that is Poland not seen as being a method in which WE can actually get on with OUR lives not valid?

Honestly, why do you persevere in attempting to show us (little Enger-landers) the error of our ways? We've voted, and we're out. Why are you so concerned? Or is it purely the fact that you enjoy a row (irrespective of whether you're right or wrong in your presumptions)?
What is there for you to gain in persisting in your arguement? Honest question.

As it stands, I'm assuming Bourgeois = bitter troll cunt whose route to easy money has now been severed?
Am I wrong? If so, how so? Why do you CARE about us as much as your postings suggest you do?

Cut the bloke some slack, he knows no better

Under the German jackboot then a Russian centrally controlled ideology, it's stamped in his lots DNA and inherent subservience to comply with 'the system'

Civil servants hold a respected occupation, (extra cabbage ration) - don't 'dis' the system

Pickle we are a country that go gets, and your are a country that gets given and our governments/politics reflect this. The fact most your younger population wants to go get over here tells you who's doing it right..........

Absolutely not.

Government is there to run the institutions that allow me and people like me to get on with our lives and make ourselves useful for each other.

You see, I'm basically just bourgeois.

Yes it must be dreadful, especially if you haven't a clue what government is supposed to be doing for you as an adult sovereign subject.

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
Imagine your whole outlook on politics and life in general is along the lines of "Big Government and civil servants are ACE. The more bureaucracy the better. What we need is more rules" to the point where it comes across like it's a fetish.

Pickled's efforts to defend the EU are impressive. I do wonder if Pickled is stupid enough to believe what he actually types or its just any means necessary to stick up for them.

Surely no one is THAT stupid, are they?

Pickle - point of order

You are, again, talking shit. The vaccine roll out here had fuck all to do with civil servants

It was your beloved civil servants who entirely fucked up the initial phase, when entirely qualified but then retired practitioners were impeded from emergency recall until they had completed a swathe of equal rights, LGBT awareness, etc courses

The individual responsible for our success, recruited by and reporting directly to BJ, was so under a cloud of resistance and criticism from the faceless wonders

Step forward Kate Bingham, from the private sector, finance as it goes (your mates). She is widely, if belatedly, acknowledged and lauded for intervention and direct involvement in the ordering of, advance payment for, critical mass production investment, supply chain and local administration thereof, in stark contrast to the EU

Other than that, yeah you are bang right
