Exactly. Mobile phone companies are falling over themselves trying to roll out 5G. That ain't cheap and investors will be looking for a very quick return on that investment - especially as the next upgrade is already to go.

People have got no real NEED to download an HD movie to their smartphone in 4 minutes instead of 8 or 10, but they're quite prepared to pay for the ability to do so. That alone suggests the economy's not going south any time soon.

I haven't engaged with Branded much.

I've exchanged whomails with Gavros, and I was hoping to meet up for a beer with him when I was working in Hackney, but it never happened. He seems a perfectly decent chap though (despite being a massive racist).

Gavros, how these people were selected, exactly my point, they were selected but not by the electorate.

Like a lot of "graduates", they tend to have an inflated sense of their own intellect, which leads them to believe they are superior.

They normally surround themselves with people who are of a like mind which creates a positive feedback loop and this re-enforces their own belief. Ther are genuinely bemused when they encounter people with diametrically opposed views.

This is why WHO is so important to all of us. We all need to challenge our own concepts of what is right and wrong constantly.

Mike.

There are over 3,000 new homes being built within a 3 mile radius of where i live (wokingham) That tells me the economy is knocking along nicely, big companies dont invest hundreds of millions into projects when a national economy is on its knees.

It’s very difficult to qualify him with any intellect at all when he states this type of stupidity, even more so because he claims to be this ‘economist’ i wouldn’t trust him with any economic prediction due to his bias and need to twist the facts because of it.

You really are a bitter and nasty man arnt you? Can you really not stand for people to gave a different view to you?.

No of course you cant..Your nihilism and sociopathic tendencies dont allow such balance of mind.

The economy can't be doing that badly given that swarms and swarms of people can afford to take time off work to go and protest about whatever it is knitting their yoghurt each week.

Gavros is a classic example of how modern education can destroy the intellect.

Shame, because he's almost certainly a decent bloke with a questionable taste in jumpers.

Gavros 11:00 Mon Oct 14

So, are you claiming that the UK has lost precisely 215m per week since we voted to leave as a direct result of brexit?

If so, please furnish the simple proof.

Think of it as a small rebate from the £130m he paid in tax last year, BRANDED.
