If membership if the EU really meant a 350 million pound a week net loss to the economy rather than the treasury, which is what really counts to you and me, the UK would have become a net receiver of cohesion funding years ago, not a relatively rich contributor as it has been up to now.

Remember, unless you start believing in magic money trees, the Treasury only has the money the economy generates in the first place.

The troubles in Ireland have been on the increase for years now, not sure how a hard border is going to make it any worse or accelerate them?

How so? We won't be losing £350m a week from our treasury. That can be used to deliver services for the electorate.

Please explain how the UK treasury being £350m better off each week will cause higher costs to the electorate.

Go on.

Yes, lots of positives about being in the EU. If only they hadn't told Cameron to fuck off when he tried to reform what he saw as some of the negatives. We'd not even be having this conversation.

There is a danger a hard border could re ignite the tensions in Northern Ireland.
The EU needs to realise this and stop being difficult. We want to go, stick your back stop up your arse and let us leave.

Thing is, if you look at Schengen, the single currency and fiscal union as policies and you compare them to Brexit, especially of the bad kind, there actually is a lot of good solid benefit there in terms of growth, jobs and stability there to campaign on.
All you need is an electorate not too brainwashed to consider their own real needs to talk to.

..." the costs of non-participation in that trading bloc are astronomically higher for the electorate in general."

I'm one of those general electorate and the costs are not higher - astronomically or otherwise - for me.

I'd be keen to talk to another member of the electorate for whom they were though. Care to find me one?

So stop complaining now and get your campaign going to rejoin. It can't be much harder than funding a boat.

"The Rejoin campaign would have to face up to campaigning for the introduction in the UK of Schengen, joining the euro and ditching sterling, and the promise of ever closer political union once we’ve rejoined, on less favourable financial terms, and maybe paying for an EU army"

All complete and utter bollocks.

What is deeply unfair to the electorate is talking bullshit about contributions to the EU trading bloc without explaining that the costs of non-participation in that trading bloc are astronomically higher for the electorate in general.

I see we've also got an pre arranged trade deal with South Korea, which could be worth up to £8 billion.

No doubt remainers will find a reason to have a moan.
