So how long HAVE these countries spent "creating their economy"?
The EU is NO MORE than an overarching ADMINISTRATIVE organ - it no more "creates an economy" than a bible creates evolution.
EVERY single thing it does can just as easily be done without it's existence.

“ 2016 declares Cameron What I want to know is how countries like Japan, Canada, Switzerland, Australia, Singapore, Norway and New Zealand can be so wealthy and have such high living standards while being outside the EU. ”
The point is those countries didn’t create a whole economy over 30 yrs that tightly linked with the EU! The issue is how do you get out of such a setup without ruining your economy.

Isn’t that pretty much the exact mirror image of what’s happened with the Tories A8, with the consequences being the utter debacle of Brexit?

I mean. I see the large infrastructure building in London. And I understand the general investment in financial services but ince you get out around the voting constituencies how do you think they might view that investment in terms of either jobs or wages?

In general, how do you see that investment helping the broader public?

Chill, what is painful is the slow agonizing death of the Labour Party and it’s replacement by hard left communism.
Are you glad that Derek Hatton is back?

HOW DO THEY DO IT?
IT’S A MIRACLE.

The UK topped Europe for foreign direct investment (FDI) between 2015 and 2018 – taking in more than second- and third-placed Germany and France combined.

A country or nation needs to attract investment. That investment could be the nation, individuals in the nation or international. We're good at banking.

Honda made a business decision driven by what is best for HONDA - they're NOT a charity and NOT responsible for the market within which they operate. They certainly bear no responsibility for or to the UK government and/or UK economy.
Snowflakes, however, are still furiously spinning this as a Brexit issue - that it would NEVER have happened had we not had that fucking referendum.

So there are lots of reasons that this is not a primarily a Brexit thing.
Honda has been less successful with hybrids and electrics than say Toyota.
Also Honda has less than a 1% market share in Europe and that plant has been well under capacity for a while.
Seems like a smart move.
