EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
BBC
Britain will vote on whether to remain in the EU on Thursday 23 June, Prime Minister David Cameron has said.
The prime minister made his historic announcement in Downing Street after briefing the cabinet.
He said he would be campaigning to remain in a reformed EU - and described the vote as one of the biggest decisions "in our lifetimes".

It appears that in pickled's world it's totally unacceptable to be right for all the wrong reasons, but fine - almost obligatory - to be wrong for all the right reasons.

The calculation means more than the outcome. How the fuck does that work?

Yeah, your family all died. So What! At least I was right about how they died.

Branded. The fact that you don't understand my point is testament to the stupidity of your post.

You really should stick to C&P. You just let yourself down with all this independent 'thinking'.

Incidentally, H&P made his most frenzied and dire prediction about the pound when he advised us all to sell it at, um, 1.0675.

No deal Brexit could produce on par spot rate. Retail rate already dropped below par a few times.'

I'll pay EUR 0.99 per pound right now. Does that mean the rate is below par?

Brain-dead.

As could a deal or remaining.

We can all pick our worst nightmares and spin them as "accurate predictions".

The best thing by far is for the UK to leave the EU, as originally offered, deal or no deal on exit day, then build from that point.

It's the uncertainty that is the bucket of cunt here, not the leaving.

As long as it doesn't have any thoughts or predictions from you on it, it might be worth reading

Anyway, talking of vegetables, I might have to dig up some projections of what the UK economy would have looked like if the pound had been ditched for the euro when it was launched...

my firend has much experiance on commodytee and currentcee parity.
He was only person in village to predikt price parity for cabbiges, beets and colliflower.
Colliflower was always more expensive but he knew a bad cabbige and beet harvest would happen.

Did all that shit when I built and ran my own government licenced tier one telecom company back in the 1990s. Had to buy "minutes" from all of the world's major telecom operators in various currencies (mainly but not exclusively US$) on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

Waltzed it. If a working class lad from Harold Hill can cope with such things, anybody can.

Nobody using my services wanted to make calls to/from Poland though, so pound/cabbage parity wasn't an issue for me.

Anyone with with a sentimental attachment to a currency like the pound needs to start running a business exposed to even the minimal currency risk, like a revolving credit on the company account. You don’t even need to be involved in any form of foreign trade or require letters of credit. Just do it and watch your attitude to the pound transform

I'll translate this.

I'm a thick cunt and didn't realise that;

If A=B and B=C, then A=C
