Free BT sport for 6 months for EE customers
not sure if this has been done, but if you're an EE customer you can get by sport free for 6 months (£5 a month afterwards)

I've just started the setup seems easy enough - can only watch on phones or connected tablets though. I don't have a SMART tv so no idea if you can get it on there

I apologise to anyone who took this up yesterday and ended up having to watch that crap last night

Next time I'll keep my stupid ideas to myself

I've had free BT Sports for about a year now and long may it continue.

Father-in-law got a new box and we had the old one. Sky send him a new card so he phones BT and tells them so they can activate his sports on the new card.

But they didn't cancel it on the old card and seem to have forgoteen all about it .....

cholo - Because they specifically disable the ability to use Chromecast. It's the same on a laptop - you can plug an HDMI cable in and that will work on your TV but not Chromecast. It's because EE only hold the rights to mobile and the same with Sky Go - they hold the internet rights but not the TV rights - an HDMI connection is a valid part of a computer set-up (to connect a monitor) but Chromecast isn't.

I have no smart TVs or dongle-y device so think I'm limited to my phone. Better than nothing though and keeps you going til end if Jan which is great!

Just added it on Sky platform as a BT broadband customer for £5 per month with HD free for 3 months then £5 thereafter so knowing West Ham's record in the competition I will just cancel HD before the free 3 months passes!!!!

Can't watch it abroad. Oh well.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to mirror your device using chromecast or firestick but it would probably be a bit laggy/audio out off sync.

Will this work abroad, does anyone know? I'm going to be sitting in San Salvador airport for the second half and assumed I'd have to use a ropey stream.

Far Clough

They usual block that mate so it does not work. Most sport app's don't unless you can find a way of hard wiring it.

Watch it on your phone, then cast it to your TV?
