Stewarding this season
Hi guys,

I wanted to put this in the main thread where the discussion is about the stewarding yesterday versus Man Utd but I fear this may have got lost in the replies and I would really appreciate some help.

I have seen the video from block 113 & this was the exact treatment that I was subjected to before the Burnley game. BEFORE!

I didn't even make it to my seat for kick off as I questioned why I would need to show my ticket to one of the bully boys after already being searched at the turnstiles.

They threw me out before the game even kicked off because of this, no violence from myself, not even bad language. It was when they got me to the exits that they were talking about getting my ticket off me (which was in my pocket) so I started to struggle as they have no right to do that. This was when they took me outside, put me face down on the floor, broke my watch in the meantime and also, one of the idiots put his foot on my head.

I spent from 20:45 until 02:00 in a cell in Forest Gate police station because of all this.

Now what did I do to deserve it? Nothing, they're just on a power trip.

What I did see when I was brought back up from the floor, was two people videoing the event on their phones! I asked them straight away to put the clips online as I know I can use them for a compensation claim & a complaint, but I'm yet to find either.

I didn't want to pop this on here, but I'm hoping that there's at least one of you good people out there who will be able to help?

Thank you.

They'll be deleted off the system in 3 years, as per HO rules.

Id have everyone on the database, but that's another discussion entirely.

Glad its all ended from a criminal perspective, but I'd be fighting to get the DNA and fingerprint records expunged from the system.

There is an organisation called Unlock that might be able to confirm if having a case dismissed entitles the accused to have the records destroyed.

With the court case decided in your favour surely the press would be interested in this? Friend of mine got stopped in Tesco for shop-lifting and hadn't done anything - no idea at all why they were stopped - and won £1500 as a result. I know it's not the money here but this needs to be seen by a wider audience.

Well done mate.

I expect nothing of any class will come from the club and I can well imagine them saying you're lucky to have your ticket returned.

Hopefully a full refund and a free season ticket next season as a way of apology over this.

i'd record the meeting if i were you.

or at the very worst take minutes and email them to the club straight after to get their agreement on stuff.

____

I'd turn up a with a solicitor- cant you get representation from the FSF people- dont tell them, just turn up and show them you mean business

Do not let these fukkas hide.

Frankly id be massively pissed off with this outcome- you havnt been found not guilty- and youve still got your DNA on file for the OB for the rest of your life

I've had an email reply from her this morning.

No apology. No agreement to a meeting. Only "we look forward to welcoming you back to West Ham United". We shall see how far my first meeting gets me, then I'll seek legal advice for a civil case.

Good news, I wish you all the best with your compensation claim for defamation of character if pursued. Perhaps you can get a no win no fee Lawyer somewhere assuming you have a good case i.e twitter evidence and such like? Likely to settle before court not wanting the bad PR.

shame because she appears to take great joy in watching others struggle.

at the very least she should send some kind of apology.

like NS said, i'm amazed you would even consider going back to the cesspit.

Goose - She said 'Supporter is on bail' on Twitter.

Not really much I can get from that, I don't think, but we can hope.
