Need something new to watch, so thought it was time for another of these. A couple to get things going.
Milius (2013) Feature length documentary about the man who gave us everything from “Feel lucky, punk?” to “I Love the smell of napalm in the morning” and much more besides. Scorsese, Coppola, Spielberg et al line up to pay tribute.

Youth Terror, the View From Behind the Gun (1978) ABC News documentary about youth crime in New York. One for fans of ’80 Blocks from Tiffany’s” etc.

And before anyone says it: Couple of clips from the 1977/78 Thames series “This Sporting Land” Sadly, the second one’s silent stock footage, but you can’t have everything. Anyone on here spot themseves?

Ukraine on Fire Ukraine Revealed
Oliver Stone. With interviews with Medvedchuk and Putin.
Not much in the way of a response from people accused in it, but some very interesting background to why we are where we are in Ukraine.
They are not on YT, you need to go on rumble, odysee or bitchute.

I'm watching a 6 parter on Amazon Prime at the moment about La Liga, they did one a couple of years ago and this is the follow up. It basically follows the fortunes of certain clubs and players throughout the season but not the big 2.
This time its follows Cazorla & Villareal Mallorca, Levante, Athletico Madrid and Atletico Bilbao.
It's pretty decent.

I was on a walking holiday in Italy a few years ago and walked for several days with Selina Scott and her hubby and mates. Didn't know who they were while we were walking. Only after. Nice bunch.

Watching Netflix new documentary on Jimmy Saville. A bizarre, disturbing, weird watch now we know what we know. Bizarre clip of poor Selina Scott (remember her) sitting on the same couch as Saville, Frank Bough and David Icke, poor girl!!

Yeah, that one was great. Also I enjoyed Spinwash 93, and the man who bought cricket (both also on Sky)

Some of the Storyville documentaries are very good. The one about the Silk Road darknet market founder was pretty interesting.

The BBC documentary on the Aberfan disaster. Very moving. The Stoicism and dignity of the Welsh miners, many of whom came up from the coal faces to dig out the dead children is heartbreaking. Puts Hillsborough into perspective somewhat.
The Killer Years - the carnage that was F.I racing during the 60's and 70's. Fascinating.
The Sky Arts documentary on Cream. Really insightful. Ginger Baker - What a down to earth legend.
