How Slaven Bilic made a dream come true for a young West Ham fan
By Benjamin Newman
A Facebook post is doing the rounds on social media revealing a brilliant gesture from West Ham manager Slaven Bilic.
It’s not been the easiest few days for Bilic, after he lost his cool at the end of last weekend’s Premier League match with West Brom.
The Baggies scored in the 94th minute to seal a 2-2 draw, which cause Bilic to explode on the touchline. He threw a microphone on the floor, and he was sent off for his bad behaviour.
But, several days after the event, Bilic showed a different side of his character helping a young West Ham fan achieve one of his dreams.
@WestHamUtd what a man you have in charge. His act of kindness should be recognised for what he did for my son yesterday. #WHUFC #SUPERSLAV pic.twitter.com/cx02brYc75

‘Get in the car’
According to the story, a lad called Alf went to West Ham’s training facilities to meet the players as they headed out of the complex in their cars. Alf got to meet everyone except Andy Carroll.
Here’s how Slaven Bilic made it happen.
