Bloody right! I already knew most of this story, but I didn't know that detail. Disgraceful behavior from the doctor, who is supposed to be a professional.

What abreast article, though. So well written. If Jack is as good at managing as he was a player, and he is a writer, the U16s are in good hands.

I'm very glad he's back.

And I hope the lazy bastard of a doctor who couldn't be arsed to try and sort his knee when it first happened is miles from the club

Great story that. The club changed for the worse when John Lyall was sacked.

Re: Welcome home Jack
Great news. Welcome jack. John Lyall as Lily said started in the office after his injury. He handed me my first season ticket. Then Ron took him under his wing and the rest is history. Lets hope history can repeat itself.

Re: Welcome home Jack
Lovely to hear. He was never going to make it in the media altho he gave it a good go. This is a good opportunity for him and us. Imagine what our midfield would have looked like with him in place- was the difference in so many games until he got screwed by the wigan pitch...

A good news monday so far!

Re: Welcome home Jack
That's great news. Hope he can have a successful career, and you never know if he might be able to end up looking after the first team one day.

Wouldn't that be a great story.

Re: Welcome home Jack
Great news! As said would love to see him end up managing us one day and I wouldn't be surprised. Top top man. Reckon he would have gone on to be a great player which is a shame, but still maybe it's written in the stars he will lead us out one day. Best of luck Jack!
