Team for Bolton

------ Antonio-----Rice-----Kouyate---------

I would stick with 3 at the back for this one. Even though we don't necessarily need it against a struggling Championship side, it makes sense to get more used to what I hope is now our routine formation in the PL. I would rest Hart, Zabaleta, Carroll and Obiang, who looked like he took a couple of knocks yesterday, likewise Ginge. As for Cresswell, I'm not resting him but dropping him - he was absolute dogshit yesterday and I don't know what has happened to the player we had 2 seasons ago. I'm hoping Masuaku shines in this match and gets a chance in the PL as he should be more suited to the wing-back role. I'm a big fan of Rice and want to see him develop his potential and put more pressure on Noble, Kouyate and Obiang. Up front, Hernandez is clearly wasted out wide and I want to see Bilic try playing him just off Carroll or Sakho - this is a good match to try it out.

If anyone has a Unibet or Bwin account you could place a bet on the match and watch it - although I can't confirm that as I'm not a member.

Re: Team for Bolton
Has only played for U23s so far... those that saw him in the ? Cup game at Swindon said he did okay but that was very early days for him.

If we can't risk him against the team at the foot of the championship (their reserves at that by all accounts) then somethings wrong... good to see him in action.

Has anyone seen Hak a sac play or is this a hopeful thing that he is ready for first team action

Re: Team for Bolton
Given that Lanzini is out for a while I hope we give Haksabanovic a start tonight... we could do with a bit of creativity and he would appear to be a like for like for Lanzini.

I see (from the U23 omissions last night) that Quina,Haksabanovic and Holland + Rice should all be involved.

Martinez played last night which is a shame... would have been good to see him.

I wouldn't have Antonio or Hernandez anywhere near this one - were fucked if they get injured. Likewise Lanzini (though he's out for another month now isn't he?)

Kouyate fonte ogbonna
Byram noble rice Arthur
Martinez sakho arnie

Get quina, holland and hakwotshisnameovic on the bench and a run out if we go two up

Cullen And Burke aren't exactly tearing up too many trees for Bolton so leave them where they are but I believe they could not play for us even if we wanted them

Re: Team for Bolton
Official site says Noble, Hart, Hernandez, Antonio & Kouyate are all in the match Day squad along with Rice, Holland & Haksanovic.
U23's playing Liverpool right now and Quina not playing there either

I would like to try this out, back 3, not in stead of wing backs, wing forwards!

Fonte, Ried, Ogbonna
Antonio, Rice, Obiang, Arnautovic
Sakho, Chicharito, Carroll

I stand corrected. If C & H are to be believed, he could be involved against Bolton. I would hope he doesn't start, but some time off the bench could be useful.
