Team V Shrewsbury Town

Hart will get the nod against his home town and old team.
Must go there with intent to finish the job on the day.
Get the same formation but with more attacking prowess.
Hart Oxford Collins Rice Zab Noble Obiang Masuaku Ayew Carroll Hernandez

I'd like to see what Haksabanovic can do. Has made the bench a few times so he's obviously on the fringes.

At least we're not going to see the Allardyce approach of blooding all the youth at once.
That was a, er, bloody mess

I´m sure Rice will start and I would like to see Haksabanovic or Martinez just to see what they are like. But only if we win...

I think he will go with experience defensively but with rice in the mix I'm all for youth but wouldn't throw in more than 3 or 4 from the start tbh

I’m more interested in the mindset of the team rather than who’s actually on the pitch at the moment.
No problem with blooding a few youth in the early cup rounds, but if we play our usual 8-1-1 formation or the players clearly aren’t trying against these then we’ll know where Moyes is at.

The squad for tomorrow has three more youth players than on Thursday at Spurs.
I don't mind seeing a few of them start as they'll not get much of a look in, in anything other than cup matches unless we suffer massive injuries, so it's really the only time we'll likely blood a few.

I’m worried about this tomorrow.
I rate a few of the young lads but if we play them all I think there turn us over.
Hopefully I’m wrong

West Ham have injury doubts over a host of players so boss David Moyes is likely to select a weakened team. Joe Hart is expected to play in goal, while Sam Byram, Edmilson Fernandes and Jose Fonte remain out.
West Ham manager David Moyes: "Do I want to win the FA Cup? One hundred per cent. But I don't think it can be where we can damage our league season.
"If I could win the cup I would definitely try to win the cup, but I couldn't do it if I thought it would affect the Premier League."

Didn't realise Oxford was injured.
Typical west ham that even when players aren't playing they're always injured.

If either Burke or Cullen play against Shrewsbury they'd either have to stay for the rest of the season or go back to Bolton, two club rule in one registration year.

Fuck, that's a lot of injuries. I would agree more or less with Mex's team but would like to see Haksabanovic get a game, after all, he has been consistently on the bench lately - I've got a feeling he's going to come good. He could step in for either Zabaleta or Arthur, both of whom could do with a rest. I also wonder if Noble will be risked as he's only just come back from a hamstring. Quina could deputise there. Looking forward to this but Shrewsbury should not be taken lightly. They're doing well in league 1 and will have a bit of momentum going into this.

Tricky this as it should be easy and we should rest players, but it is another must win so for me it has to be the strongest team possible.

We need an ultra defensive lineup, with just Hernandez scratching around up front.

The same could be said of Burke and Cullen, both playing really well at Bolton.Momentum for both of them is a huge factor in their learning experience.
Hart Burke Collins (if fit) Oxford Haksabanovic Cullen Obiang Masauku Ayew Chicharito Martinez subs Trott Rice Noble Carroll Kouyate Quina Makasi
If no Collins then Rice comes in and Johnson on the bench
