They also get mocked when they do that by other left wıng programmes or commentators so they do not get off there is still integrity on the left and that was proved unequivocally after the Washington monument fiasco.
Fox would just act like it were nothing what they did to Obama as soon as he became president was nothing short of scandalous they interviewed him in their studio almost as if he were a civilian off the street.

They abandon their standards, in stories about him or even remotely connected to him.

Two most recent examples:

MAGA hats at the Washington Memorial
And the treatment of Jessie Smollett's story became he included "MAGA country" is his alleged attack.

That is not acceptable to me.

Do not let your dislike of anyone, however justified, blind you to other things going on around you.

"Its the Media in general they need to generate money thorough advising mainly now with online news"

They don't all do that and the recent job losses at companies (Vox, Buzzfeed, Mic etc.) that rely almost exclusively on that revue model, show it to be an at least partially flawed way of doing journalism.

These are the same outfits that produce content for people like yourself. (I apologize if this is offensive but this what you have told me yourself.) Stories that don't look deep into the nuance for the truth but present easy to understand views that the reader already holds.

"Its bad journalism in many case I agree but its across the board"

There are cases across the spectrum, I very much agree. I do not think they are distributed evenly across the spectrum, all these new media companies have a similar narrative they work off and legacy media works in similar ideological space.

If Hannity presents himself as an opinion man (I am familiar with who he is, not his actual content.) good for him. He is at least telling you his bias. I do not believe the majority of media that fit on very different part of the spectrum give us that kind of honesty.

You then end your post with "stone cold fact" in an list from Vox. There is some problem here.

Context matters and you can make a list like that for at least a couple of presidents, I know of, who finished their terms. Is Vox telling you that?

"Given how information now flows they do a remarkable job of getting things right."

Rubbish

You have used those excuses before and they might be valid if there were not journalists out there that hold their nerve and wait for facts or report speculation as such.

It would also be less laughable if the "mistakes" did not tend to follow certain narratives. Mistakes don't have a clear intent behind them.

-"That’s why you do well to look at major outlets that have a reputation, and who will correct themselves."

I am also looking at legacy media outfits that used to have a reputation. And they often act like you do, once proven wrong, they almost pretend things didn't happen and try to change the subject. The Lincoln Memorial incident is a great example: you won't talk about the adults' role in that mess. Similarly, much of that media of "reputation" spent a tiny fraction of time and column inches they spent taking about the kids, talking about the adults role in this, once the whole story came out. Why do you think that is?

- "it’s no basis to be forming an entire political belief system around"

Do you know what a political belief system is?
My scrutiny of the media and willingness to consult sources across the spectrum and question them all is a tool to help maintain an honest belief system.

The amount of government involvement, economic and social, that one desires is a general basis for a political belief system. Having good media is necessary to being able to judge that properly and is an important component in a good system but is not the basis for anything, if you understand what a political system is.

"It’s almost always pedaled by those looking for excuses for their own extreme view"

Rubbish, again. A free, independent and unbiased press is the exact opposite of what extreme political views want. They wanted it follow a narrative and to make excuses for it. You know this from history, I hope.

But you imply, like here, and out right state that my view are extreme right wing - Can you actually tell me exactly what those views are and provide actual evidence?

(And if you say focus on examining media again, you have really bought into some real 1984 stuff, where openness and truth is bad)

That is a cop-out.

No one is forcing the press to race Trump to the bottom or to try to lower the bar further when he lowers it.

In fact, they would look much better if they did the opposite.

Trump is a lying, traitorous sack of shit who cares for nothing but himself.

You don’t get to blame the media for not seeing that. Or at least pretending not to see that.

That’s down to your personal lack of mental capacity and integrity.

To be fair though NoNuts, you are a cunt of the highest order, and a spineless worm of a “man”. So your opinion is less than worthless.

See Trump is having another twitter meltdown at McCabe, SNL, threatening Tomfire Coates for not lying about the threat of North Korea.

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released
If you two believe there is no media bias against Trump and his supporters by main stream media then you are thicker than I thought.
To read your pathetic attempts to try and pin this on anything but Trump hate by all involved is laughable.

Fuck knows why I’m asking but I’ll give it a shot anyway.

Cap who do you think is Lying here McCabe or Rosenstein?

Re: Fusion GPS testimony on Trump released
In media terms the issue at the center of the mistakes is that things happen in real time. Even the dailies of Fleet Street used to get a day to pull thing together - now it happens on the spot.

Social media also acts as a magnifying glass and I’m no fan of the wildfire outrage on twitter or Facebook.

That’s why you do well to look at major outlets that have a reputation, and who will correct themselves.

Given how information now flows they do a remarkable job of getting things right. What shouldn’t happen is the use of genuine mistakes as an excuse for pushing clear lies.

Sure you get to point out what is wrong, but it’s no basis to be forming an entire political belief system around. It’s almost always pedaled by those looking for excuses for their own extreme views, be they on the hard right or the hard left.

I honest can't believe you brought up objective truth. You will deflect and try to ignore every time an objective truth you don't like or you have been proved wrong on. is brought up.

You are doing it again at the end of your post.

On the first part, of course. A grandmother has never lied?

You take evidence into account, the wounds she received etc. In a lot of case, evidence proves a crime has taken place almost immediately before it reaches the media. Not so with the Smollett case.
