Trump administration launches global effort to end criminalization of homosexuality
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/trump-administration-launches-global-effort-to-end-criminalization-of-homosexuality/ar-BBTORM8?li=BBnbcA1
It is a nuanced issue like most. He is really going after a nation that he has other beefs with, very true, but it is also a nation that has recently executed a gay man for essentially being that.
Lots of good has been done in politics, without the purist of motives.

Of course Trump is running, unfortunately. If the GOP were in any way meaningfully not backing him at this point, there would actually be a primary warm-up happening.
You have one guy doing an exploratory committee but that is it.
Some goes for if, with greater inside knowledge of the investigations than us, they smelled anything there that would take him out in the next two years.

Capitol Man 6:19 Wed Feb 20
"I see snowflake’s special catholic boy is suing the Washington Post for $250m, with direct references to the organization’s bias against Trump."
Thanks Capitol Man for mentioning this. Childish innuendo aside, you must know that you are highlighting the fact that you are one that has refused to talk about the personal responsibility of the adults in this case and only focused on the boys.
To the specific point, I am not a fan of the litigious nature of the States at times but it is important here. The dollar number is just a starting point and this keeps an important story in the news. Additionally, stories are being written that now include a least a bigger portion of the whole story and it make it difficult for people to ignore parts of it like Capital Man has tried to do. For instance Reuters piece on it:
"A private investigation firm retained by Covington Diocese in Park Hills, Kentucky, found in a report released last week no evidence the teenagers provoked a confrontation.
The students were met at the Lincoln Memorial by offensive statements from members of the Black Hebrew Israelites, the report said.
Protesters demonstrate against Trump emergency order The investigation also determined that the students did not direct any racist or offensive comments toward Phillips although several performed a “tomahawk chop” to the beat of his drum.
Phillips claimed in a separate video that he heard the students chanting “build that wall,” during the encounter, a reference to Trump’s pledge to build a barrier along the U.S. border with Mexico.
The investigators said they found no evidence of such a chant and that Phillips did not respond to multiple attempts to contact him."

I'm not sure the party were ever really with him. But once he was in the job, they had to get behind him. I think he has always presented a dilemma for GOP congressmen. Back a president who is clearly incompetent, corrupt, unintelligent etc, or stitch up a sitting Republican president. I think he does enough to satisfy them, tax cuts etc, but in time they will have to stab him in the back to save their own arses.

Looks like we have a new source of information in the form Hermit Road's favourite Out magazine. I hadn't realised he keeps his finger on the LGBTQ pulse, but each to their own.

An indictment is an accusation so yes, anyone can run for President. In fact I'm not sure if a criminal record disqualifies candidates either?

The term used was 'skeletons' coming out, doesn't mean he would be indicted would it, which is why I said it's a loose term.
I don't want to discuss with you anyhow, you're fucking odd.

Let's assume that does happen 67 and some skeletons (a loose term) get laid to bare, why would that stop him running in 2020? Are you saying he would be impeached? Would he resign? What would happen?
I believe he will run next year.

Sanders was doing superbly until Hilary's lot put a stop to him with a sheer, unashamed corruption.
