Re: 2018 Cycling & Fantasy Leagues
Wow that was some stage.
Thomas looks very strong (thanks captain) and Sky blew the other teams to pieces.
Good on Valverde for attacking; at least he tried unlike Quintana who was the Movistar rider who needed to attack.
Feel sorry Nieve. If only Adam Yates had popped a couple of minutes earlier he might have clung on,

Re: 2018 Cycling & Fantasy Leagues
Utan has lost enough time that the GC riders will probably let him go if he attacks. It's ideal for your team really.

Re: 2018 Cycling & Fantasy Leagues
Had a shocker yesterday , I added a climber who I thought would attack and have a go to make up time dropped in the first week...Uran!!!! He seemed to have more reverse gears than forward and that was compounded by the fact as I mentioned previously I had Alaphilippe and Izegurre on my velogames team. Im gutted as they only did a 1-2 finish. Had to switch Uran from Team Captain which surely means he will ride a blinder today. :-)

Agreed, it's not fair on the riders to make it a lottery like that but with right tactics all the top riders have all survived. Porte aside of course who stacked it before the cobbles! Brilliant to watch though.

I couldn't give less of a shit about La Course. I'm well miffed they wasted 15mins on it in the highlights. It's no better than kids races in terms of quality and that Aussie cunt who co commentates drives me up the wall.

Greg Van A could have a hell of a lead this evening if he can keep this together

Re: 2018 Cycling & Fantasy Leagues
Caught up with some highlights last night.

I'm a relative newbie to cycling (interest first aroused when the 2012 time trials and road race passed within 400m of home - Have down the last two ride londons) and as a result seem to be in a bit of a minority when it comes to a view on Sundays stage.

Though it certainly does liven things up after a couple of dull stages that all seemed a little over the top to me. I'd hate to have trained so bloody hard only to get taken out by the cobbles.

Reminded of a Wacky Races cartoon after dick dastardly and mutley had switched the road signs around and caused everyone's cars to fail on a shitty road.

Can't wait for these next three stages though. Proper fun and pain .

Change made.
Certainly an improvement on last year where I lost Thomas and Majka on the same stage.

and

Got 50/71 on the second one , it would have been 51 if I could have remembered how to spell Bjarne Thing's second name
