Loftus-Cheek
Not sure what Southgate can't see but looks like one of the best players we have and would be first down on my team sheet.
Suggestions he may leave Chelsea because of the lack of first team football. We should go all out for him.
If England progress however, his price tag will become unachievable for us.

Alwaysaniron, sorry mate but I have to disagree. Marketing is all about knowing your customer and target market and appealing to them by using this knowledge.

I think its fair to say those 3 dickheads have absolutely no idea what we fans/'customers' want. They claim to be football people but its obvious to all they are no such thing.

I'm not. He played all last season for Palace and was class.

You fucking berk.

"In-Vogue". What the fuck is that? You mean 'In-form' surely?

At the height of their value? He's 22 and playing a World Cup for England. You think if he has a decent WC he will be £25m?? Add £15m. Chelsea won't even sell him. He will probably be playing for them next season as a regular.

So yeah, if you can get him in now, for £25m then you fucking do it quick sharp. Because as you always bang on about sell on value and age then he is perfect.

Or are you having one of your contrary moments and changing your tune to match a different song again?

Looks like people have added 10 mil to his value after 13 minutes against a shit Tunisia side

Bahahahaahaaa, that was one of your better ones

Re: Loftus-Cheek
Yep, same way as they said they bid 35m for Lacazetts and 30 odd for Bacca and Batshuyai etc etc. They have a lot of previous and lets see after all these 'offers' they stiil buy players in or around the 20 plus million mark. They will then trot out the 'we tried' shit yet again.

They keep doing the same thing and you all expect a different outcome. Who have they bought and for how much, a free, 7m and a 20+m. Offered 35m for Anderson, going to offer 35m for Seri. Any one else see a pattern

Or what they want to do is actually bid 35-37 million for Anderson and show the fans that they have just BLOWN their (only last week) record signing spend away!

These people might be wankers and have run our club like a personal bank loan, but they are multi millionaire business people and as such understand marketing far better than we might think we do!

just so I know...are people basing this on a 13 minute cameo

Re: Loftus-Cheek
Has something about him, should definitely be in starting line up. More exposure and he will become a true superstar, just needs game time

Re: Loftus-Cheek
Aiming for in-vogue players at the height of their value is just the worst strategy imaginable for the club.

boleyn8420 3:56 Thu Jun 21
Re: Loftus-Cheek
Loftus-Cheek for only 25m, maybe 18 months ago. He is in at least 35m-40m brackett and therefore of no interest to us whatsoever. Do you really think they have bid 35m for Anderson, no chance. They way they introduces Diop as our record breaking signing at 23m tells you where their idea of expensive footballer lies and it aint Loftus-Cheek

Good point about the homegrown quota

Although Abraham might fill a spot next season

I especially couldn't see them selling to Spurs.

Re: Loftus-Cheek
I couldn't see them selling to a top 6 rival if they did let him go. Especially after they made that mistake with Matic last year.

But I doubt he'll be available anyway. Apart from anything I think Chelsea have issues with their home grown quota, which is probably why they were happy to pay well over the odds for Drinkwater last summer and bring in Barkley in January even though he never plays.

Re: Loftus-Cheek
the sort of thing that would probably happen is eriksen or the lesbian moves for £60-70m and those cunts buy RLC for £40m, we should have moved a year ago

Re: Loftus-Cheek
£25 million. Never happen. And if it was a possibility then Spurs would be all over it.

El Scorchio
How long does he have on his contract? If it's more than a few years, then Chelsea hold all the cards.

According to Transfermarkt website his contract expires 30-06-2021, so 3 years to go.

El Scorchio 1:47 Thu Jun 21
Re: Loftus-Cheek
But yes, IF he were available for 25 million then move heaven and earth to get him.

Although I imagine he'd have his pick of clubs for that price. Surely almost every other club in the Premier league and several from abroad would be in for him.

Alwaysaniron 1:42 Thu Jun 21
Re: Loftus-Cheek
He is an excellent prospect and if we get him for anything like £25m then I think that's a risk well worth taking.
